http://www.indianexpress.com/news/riot-hits-meerut-more-than-dozen-people-injured/780988

More than dozen people, including police officials, were injured after two communities clashed with each other over the attack on a religious leader in the Kazipur area here, a senior police official said today.
The incident took place yesterday when an altercation broke out between local mosque Imam Ikrar Ahmed and Sandeep, a local resident, following which the latter and his three other aides attacked Ahmed and fled from the spot immediately, Deputy Inspector General J N Singh said.
Triggering a protest, miffed members from the community took to the streets, torched several commercial establishments and vehicles, he said adding, that the police rushed to the spot immediately and brought the situation under control.
"A case has been registered against the absconding five accused who were behind the attack on the Imam. We have also arrested 17 people for their involvement in the communal clash," Singh said.
He said that several police officials also sustained injuries as both the communities resorted to firing and stone pelting.
All the educational institutions, including schools and colleges were closed today as a part of precautionary measures, he said.

 Meerut Riot

Telangana mantra at 'Sita Rama Kalyanam'

Telangana mantra at 'Sita Rama Kalyanam': "

Our Colony Association members planed to perform "Sita Rama Kalyanam" , An elderly person Yesterday came to Invite me for the same. Me being Agnostic wanted to say 'No I wont' , but ended up saying 'Yes I will'. This morning he again reminded me , I was in two minds, whether I should stick to the WORD, I gave him or following my Agnostic path, should stay away from Kalyanam??? Somehow I felt I shud keep up my WORD and went to attend the Kalyanam . Doest it make me Theist ??? ;););)
Pran Jaaye, Par Vachan Naa Jaaye !!! :) :)
The best thing I liked at Kalyanam is , the Brahman who was performing the Sita Rama Kalayanam was chanting all Vedic mantras and also said 'శిగరమే తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్ర ప్రాప్తిరస్తు' (May Telangana State be formed). I was so amused to hear that .

I'am told in all the Telangana temples while doing daily Archana to the Deity , the temple Poojari's are chanting ' ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర విచ్చినమస్తూ , తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటు సిద్దిరస్తూ ' ( May Andhra pradesh State disintegrate , May Telangana State be formed )along with other Vedic Mantras. Thus the temple poojaris are requesting the Hindu God's & Goddesses to bless and support the formation of Separate Telangana state.

More tragic info on Sadhvi Pragya

More tragic info on Sadhvi Pragya: "

The revered Hindu saint Saadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur was only allowed up to 4 narcotics test. In spite of these orders the Indian government and ATS performed more than 17 tests on the poor soul.
Today half of the holy soul’s body has been paralyzed and has cancer due to the toxicity of these tests. She needs support to sit … let alone walk. The courts had ordered that the saint be provided free treatment in the government hospital… but the doctors at the hospital are threatened by the ATS… Sadhvi ji’s sister’s husband appealed to the court that they will gladly take care of her but the court rejected the appeal.

The state of the Hindus is indeed very sad in their own land…

Sabarimala desecerated by Christians again , Move to hush up the shocking incident

Sabarimala desecerated by Christians again , Move to hush up the shocking incident

Pampa: Sabarimala Temple, which is situated right at the heart of Christian belt in Mid Travancore region, has been haunting the Christians now for decades. They have attempted all sort of crookedness to destroy the sanctity and the temple itself every now and then. But all those efforts back lashed and the fame of this Ayyappa temple has multiplied over the time.

If their forefathers set fire to this temple years back hoping to root out the annual pilgrimage which acted as a deterrent to their Conversion and Forest encroaching agenda, now 9 Christian youth following their forefathers route ventured into the temple premises with Meat and Alcohol with the sole aim of desecrating the temple sanctity.

This shocking incident happened on 3rd of March. The Christian gang parked their vehicle near Pampa and went to Sannidhanam. Devaswom Gaurds were not in their office at that time. Later they were found in a inebriated condition in the Sannidhanam by the devaswom gaurds. They have taken their party snaps pictures as from sannidhanam and on holy 18 steps. Although devaswom gaurds handed them over to Pampa Police station, they have been released without registering any cases following high level intervention.

Home Ministry is keeping tight lipped about the whole issue and efforts are undergoing to hush up the matter. Although Executive officer has demanded an urgent explanation from Pampa Devaswom Manager, nothing has furnished so far. Various Hindu organisations and Hindu Aikya Vedi strongly condemned the incident and demanded severe action against the culprits. Hands of Christian Missionary mafia are suspected in the incident.

India’s Debt to Veer Savarkar

India’s Debt to Veer Savarkar: "
One thing that constantly astonishes me is my ignorance of Indian history. I admit that freely and feel sorry for myself — and for the hundreds of millions of Indians who are ignorant like me. I am partly to blame but we should remember that the Indian government — what I should really call the British Government 2.0 which started off with faux Britisher Jawaharlal Nehru at the helm — did much to misrepresent Indian history. Thanks to the interwebs (and thanks to Al Gore for inventing them internets), slowly I am learning a bit of history.

The other day I was thinking that even though I am ignorant of history, I figured out that Nehru was a clueless retard even though his name is plastered all over the country and they all say what a great man he was. I figured out that MK Gandhi must have been a self-obsessed authoritarian with an inflated ego.

The thing is, as Yogi Berra pointed out, you’d be astonished what you observe if you care to see. (I don’t know if Yogi Berra actually said it but it sounds like something that he may have said.) I saw without distorting glasses and I observed that India is a disaster zone. There were people who directed it since its political independence in 1947. They were in control. They — what’s the word I am looking for — yes, fucked up. Pardon my French.

My reasoning was syllogistic:

Major premise: India is evidently in dire distress.

Minor premise: India was led by Cha-cha and friends.

Conclusion: Cha-cha and friends were retards.

Those worthies — Cha-cha Nehru and his gang of retards — are definitely to blame. Cha-cha. Don’t you just feel like getting up and doing a bit of a dance. One-two-cha-cha-cha. Let’s do the cha-cha-cha.

The other day I was thinking. (A different other day than the other day mentioned previously.) In his book, “The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution“, Richard Dawkins makes a point that I had not pondered before. He argued that circumstantial evidence is not the poor county cousin of eyewitness evidence, but rather circumstantial evidence can be more solid than eyewitness evidence.

Did you see that man enter the house at 7 PM? Yes, says the witness. But memories can be very unreliable at times. People make mistakes in identifying people. Circumstantial evidence, if available, can be quite foolproof. The finger prints on the knife, the shirt of the accused with the bloodstains that DNA shows to be the victim’s blood, the motive that the accused had, etc.

I pondered that matter at some length. I realized that the history we are taught in school about how great a person Cha-cha Nehru was is like an eye-witness account which has been retold a few thousand times. Someone somewhere made the assertion that Nehru was smart — and then it got repeated uncritically by others.

The circumstantial evidence says otherwise. Nehru was clueless about economic policy. Fabian socialism was known to be a disaster. Nehru was clueless about military policy. Thousands of Indian soldiers died in the disastrous war with China, thanks to Cha-cha. He was clueless about industrial policy. Import substitution industrialization (ISI, not to be confused with the Pakistani organization that DiggyVijay Singh moonlights for) chained India’s growth to what is now rightly called the “Nehru rate of growth.” Nehru was clueless about military strategy. He told the Indian army to halt their campaign to throw out the Pakistanis from Kashmir and took the matter to the UN. Tens of thousands of military and civilians have died as a consequence, and a few million Kashmiri Hindus are languishing in refugee camps in their own country.

I’d love to continue on the subject of the Nabob of Cluelessness, Mr Nehru. But I am sure you have better things to do and I don’t have the time to list all the cluelessness of Mr Nehru. India’s pathetic education system is his doing. The IITs are a prime example of that. But I will go into why the IITs have been a curse to India later.

Anyway, if you need convincing that Nehru, Gandhi and the rest of the unholy bunch were crazily mistaken, take a look at India — and weep.

So here’s what I learned today. India owes a debt to Savarkar. Taken from The Daily Pioneer. Reproduced in full since it is hard to find the piece when you need it in a hurry. If they come after me for copyright violations, I will take this down.

India’s debt to Savarkar

Thursday, May 29, 2008

Second opinion: Priyadarsi Dutta

His Irish admirers fondly misspelt him as ‘Sawarkar’, and politely declined to make amends when Shyamji Krishna Verma, his sponsor in England, clarified the point. It was difficult for his readers to imagine him without invoking imageries of war. His pen, dipped in blood, breathed so much fire that it was a wonder that “why the paper did not burn”. In those days, India’s freedom movement was not stricken with the phthisis of non-violence and obsessive compulsive disorder of Hindu-Muslim unity introduced by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, whose 125th birth anniversary was marked on May 28, was 14 years junior to Gandhi. But he was years ahead of him on many counts. He set the goal of absolute independence for India in 1900; Gandhi asked for it in 1929. He performed a bonfire of foreign clothes in 1905, during the movement against Bengal’s partition, an idea emulated by Gandhi for his noncooperation movement.

India could have been spared of its emasculation had it abided by Savarkarite clarity rather than Gandhian absurdities. To Savarkar, as he succinctly put down in his last book, Six Glorious Chapters of Indian History, no nation could aspire for civilisational greatness without acquiring military strength.

Savarkar lived to see the vindication of his proposition in contemporary India. Gandhi’s policy of pacifism failed to buy peace with Muslims, leading to carnages and expulsion of Hindus and Sikhs from Pakistan. Jawaharlal Nehru’s dream of “talking his way to leadership of the world”, and forging Hindi-Chini brotherhood through slogans failed badly. Slapped hard by China, he was exposed for what he was — a meek leader of a Third World country.

Independent India scarcely realises the greatest debt it owes to Savarkar; turning a Muslim dominated Indian Army into a predominantly Hindu-Sikh Army with his whirlwind recruitment drive during World War II. If it were otherwise, Pakistan, even after partition, would have 60 per cent to 70 per cent of soldiers, enough to overwhelm West Bengal, East Punjab, threatening Delhi, let alone much talked about Jammu & Kashmir.

Saudi clerics issue fatwa okaying adult breast-feeding as way of circumventing Islamic law

    • While it has been common for women to breast-feed their young male relations so that they may be allowed together alone later, two Saudi clerics recently advocated extending the practice to unrelated adult males.
As part of Islamic law, men and women are forbidden to be alone together, unless they are blood relatives or have established maternal relations, in order to prevent sexual contact.
As a way to avoid breaking this rule — which can result in lashings or prison time — Sheikh Al Obeikan, adviser to the royal court and consultant to the Ministry of Justice, told Gulf News that women should give their breast milk to male colleagues, acquaintances or anyone with whom they come into regular contact.
"The man should take the milk, but not directly from the breast of the woman," Al Obeikan said, according to Gulf News. "He should drink it and then becomes a relative of the family, a fact that allows him to come in contact with the women without breaking Islam's rules about mixing."
While Al Obeikan advises that milk should be pumped and then given in a glass, another Saudi sheik, Abi Ishaq Al Huwaini, argues that men should suckle directly.
Soon after these proclamations, a Saudi bus driver allegedly asked a female teacher, whom he drives frequently, for her breast milk, according to AOL News. The teacher refused and is threatening to sue.

Haindava Keralam - Interview with Dr Subramanian Swamy

    • What all are the Internal threats faced by our Nation now?

A: Our main internal threat is a lack of identity. We should make everyone accept that being Indian does not mean just holding an Indian Passport. Indians should also accept that we are either Hindus or descendents of Hindus which Indian Muslims and Christians are. Hence India is Hindustan. All other threats come from the lack of identity. We should foster development Sanskrit as our national language since every Indian language has a large number of Sanskrit words.

Hindus are increasingly becoming religious and attend Hindu Temples, Festivals and spiritual camps. How can we politicize Hindus and make them strong nationalists?

A: By being sincere, and credibly promise that if elected to office, not to betray the people by trying to implement the election commitments.

Can you elaborate on your association with Sangh Pariwar on various National Issues? Your take on the Ram Sethu and Ayodhya issue.

A: Although I am not a formal member of RSS I have worked very closely with RSS, especially with the good wishes of Guruji, Madhav Rao Mulay, Nanaji Deshmukh, Dattopant Thengadi, and recently Sudharshanji. From the very beginning I believed Hindutva is the only cement with which we can build a modern strong India. Even when I was campaigning against Vajpayee I worked for re-opening of Kailash & Manasarovar, making the Session Judge Pande, who ordered the locks of the former Babri masjid to be opened to allow puja inside, as High Court judge, and also worked to finding a solution as Law Minister to the Ram temple issue. So Ram Setu etc is just contunuation of same thinking.

You are also an expert in Indo- China relations and Indo- Israel relations - Can you please elaborate on both according to current scenario?

A: China is our neighbour, and Israel is our tested friend in times of need. Hence, we have to befriend both. China has to be managed without sacrificing our national interests, and not as Nehru foolishly did. Israel only needs our love and commitment that we will never let the Arabs over-run it. It is a land of 6 m illion Jews surrounded by 125 million Muslims.
    • Whether you think Hindu organisations are not effectively using our Judiciary to protect Dharma? If yes - What is your advice

A: Obviously not,  because they have not fought, or fought and won, for any of the Hindu causes in court. That is why with the concurrence of RSS and VHP leaders, the Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha has set up a legal cell--- under my convenorship.

Nationalists in Kerala are grateful for your timely intervention to nip Islamic Banking from its bud itself in Kerala, What Is your advice to Kerala Hindu Society on dealing with such Anti National practices aimed at Minority appeasement?

A: Kerala Hindu society should be aggressive and united as in the Devasom Board issue, and be non-aligned between Communists and Congress. Which means in elections, united Hindus can align with either for seats adjustments.
    • Being a Former Law Minister, Have you ever thought of introducing common civil code and scrapping Article 370 ?

A: I did and prepared the papers, but our government fell in 1991. When Jayalalitha proposed my name for Minister in Vajpayee's government I was planning to complete the process, but Vajpayee refused to induct me so it remains incomplete.

How could Hindu Organizations be more politically active and undertake result oriented action strategies?

A: Of course they must. That is why the HDAS has also formed a Hindu Parliamentary Forum and asked me to help form it. Hindu organisations must strive to build a Hindu vote bank which will make every party try to appease Hindus.

Do you think that there is a strong anti-Hindu lobby at work in Indian Media ?

A: It's more a pro-careerist selfish lobby which is afraid of an anti-Hindu government. This lobby will change its tune if a pro-Hindu govt comes to power.

Why Hindu organizations not interested in starting a national media and television station?

A: Send Rs 10 crores per year to me for three years. I will return it over five years. If you cannot arrange it, then you have answered your own question.

      Your message to HK readers

A: Propagate our identity, learn Sanskrit and be ready to fight back.
    • I don't see why hindu organizations can't have one!RSS,VHP,BJP, Shiv Sena and numerous other Hindu organizations and Mutts together can start a channel together, each getting their own time-slots to telecast their own programmes, show-casing their service activities, holding aloft the banner of Hinduism.

Distorted sex ratios in India: Haryana's lonely bachelors | The Economist

    • BALJEET SINGH dandles his baby daughter on his knee, a picture of contented fatherhood. Last year the 37-year-old Hindu truck driver became the envy of his friends when he married a 16-year-old Muslim from Assam, in India’s north-east. The unorthodox marriage suited both. Mr Singh’s romantic life had become a casualty of India’s preference for boy babies, which in his state, Haryana, has led to the most skewed sex ratio in India: 116 to 100, according to the 2001 census, compared with a national average of 108. By the age of 30, says Mr Singh, he had given up hope of finding a girl from his own village, Nandgaon, or from his state. His wife, Sona Khatum, comes from an impoverished family in one of India’s poorest states, though village rumour mutters that she may be an illegal migrant from Bangladesh. Mr Singh paid handsomely. “Here, I’ve always been made comfortable,” she says shyly, from beneath her veil.

Shiva Lingam made of Rudraksha beads attracts hundreds in Valsad | TopNews

    • Submitted by Saurav Shukla
    Rudraksha-Shiv-Ling
    • Hundreds of devotees visited Dharampur town in Gujarat’s Valsad district to see the 25 feet tall Shiva lingam, which was made entirely of Rudraksha beads on the occasion of Mahashivratri on Friday.
The Rudraksha Shiva Lingam has been created by Batuk Vyas, a devotee of Lord Shiva and Rudraksha expert, every year during the Mahashivratri festival.
    • Valsad (Gujarat)
    • "The question is why we created such a huge structure of Rudraksha beads? Before wearing the Rudraksha, one needs to worship it and perform some rituals. So, on the occasion of Mahashivratri and Maha Kumbh, we have created this huge structure with Rudraksha to pay respect to Lord Shiva. There is no better way than this to offer our prayers on this occasion. The aim behind this was purely to offer prayers to Lord Shiva," Vyas said.
    • Around 800,000 Rudraksha beads have put to use and it took about 19,000 hours to create this Shiva Lingam. (ANI)

School cuts off student’s braid; Bajrang Dal seeks principal’s arrest

  • Crime
    • Mumbai
    • Parents of a student of St Jude’s High School in Sakinaka, along with Bajrang Dal members, on Tuesday staged a protest outside the school after the principal cut a student’s hair, which his father said he had grown into a long tuft for “religious” reasons.

When they were not allowed to meet the principal, they approached the Saki Naka police, registered a complaint and sought the arrest of the principal for hurting religious sentiments.

Saki Naka police said Parvesh Dubey (14), a Class VIII student of St Jude’s High School on 90 Feet Road had grown his hair for religious reasons but had been asked to cut it by the school as it was against the rules.

“On Tuesday morning, Parvesh’s class teacher saw that he had not cut the tuft despite repeated warnings and sent him to the principal’s office. The principal, Father Frank Fernandez, picked up a pair of scissors on his desk and snipped off the braid,” said an official of Saki Naka police station.
    • Parvesh Dubey at the Saki Naka police station on Tuesday.
    • “My son has weak vision and we had offered prayers to our local deity. As a token we had promised that he would not cut the tuft till his vision is restored. The school authorities have hurt our sentiments by cutting his hair and therefore action should be taken against them,” said Parvesh’s father Shivkumar Dubey.

Sarabha Panjab: British Indian girls working in Pakistan Brothels

    • Lahore Pakistan
    • Gullible young girls from as far as the Middle East, India and UK are being forced into prostitution after being lured by organised syndicates promising them glamorous careers and lucrative jobs, a humans rights group has said.
    • "The situation is extremely serious with smart operators hunting for good looking young girls for modelling assignments or jobs in call centres with good salaries," said Hasina Kharbih, chairperson of Impulse NGO Network, a rights group working in rescuing women trafficked.
    • Impulse activists recently rescued at least four young girls from Lahores ‘Heera Mandi’ district. "The girls were Hindus from Northeast India and were lured by agents who promised them good modelling roles and handsomely paid jobs in call centres," Kharbih says.
    • "We were told by these rescued girls that there were more women from the northeast in the flesh trade racket who were trapped with such baits."
    • The Story of a British Panjabi girl who was tricked into prostitution
    • About an hour later, we were approached by this really nice looking guy, came over to my mate and started chatting, we then noticed the "Kara" on his arm so we assumed it was ok to chat to him, his name was "Mick". We were then introduced to his mates, all of them were really smart and good looking. And we were enjoying this mingling with boys for the first time, we felt both scared and excited, because we had never done this before.
    • This was going to be my first relationship. I got to know "Abs" over the next couple of months, we would arrange, the best times for him to call me, it was exciting, no one knew about him, I felt needed and loved. He was 18 at the time, and I had just turned 16. He drove a really nice car and worked for his uncle, in I.T.
    • I did notice that he was not Punjabi, he dressed different to normal Punjabi boys that age, and he didn't drink and smoke. He knew a lot of Muslims, but I decide to ignore that fact, as I was having the time of my life.
    • I had a funny feeling he was Muslim, but he wore a Kara? and I never had the courage to ask him, because I didn’t want to ruin anything between us. But finally that day came when he revealed that he must go to the mosque, I was taken back, I didn’t know how to respond, my boyfriend was a Muslim, and I loved him too much to let him go. I asked him about his name, his nickname was Abs. he had told me his name was Harbinder, but in fact his name was Yasseen.
    • This was a distressing situation, he had lied to me and led me on to believe he was Sikh, but was in fact a Muslim. I confronted him, I asked him, you knew I was a Sikh, then why did you get into this relationship with me? He answered my question with a question, does it matter? And I remember replying "No" after a few minutes, I thought to myself he's not your typical Muslim, and he has treated me with respect.
    • So we decided to give it a shot, (what fool I was), we would spend a lot of time together, he got me job at his uncle’s firm, they all treated me with respect although I was a Sikh, and all of them were Muslim, they were so nice to me. I felt wanted and at home with me boyfriends family.
    • We saw each other for over 2 year's (all through collage) and then came the time for me to leave my home and go to university, I went out of town a good few hours away, I wanted to live as far as away from my family as possible, as they were the obstacle, in my life from him. I had stopped wearing my Kara and my gold khanda necklace. I also stopped going to the Gurdwara, because I did not want to offend him, and I would use that time instead to be with him. I loved him and would do anything for him, anything.
    • During this time, I started to stop going home, I would say that I had too much uni work to do, and so I couldn’t come home. Then, I stopped answering my phone from my family and friends, because I knew all they would say is to stop seeing him, and come home etc. so I changed my number, that's not the only thing I changed, a few months later I changed my name!
    • We were happy together, we were in love, we were made for each other!! A few months later I even changed my faith, I became a Muslim, I was happy then to finally be apart of something that was so great, everyone loved me, and I was finally at home and peace. Islam then offered everything to me, it made sense and was the truth, Sikhism had to many flaws in it, or that is what I was told, and I believed everything he said, it all made sense, Sikhism was a man-made religion, it believed in caste (we had Gurdwara made on caste) we would make our women dance half naked on bhangra video's, while Islam would teach us to cover the women because she is so precious, like an diamond. I was duped, I knew nothing about Sikhism, my parents never told me, and I never learnt anything at the Gurdwara, never understood what the Granthi's were saying. And as a result I believed everything he told me.
    • We then decided to get married, but he said we should go to Pakistan to that, because his sisters were there, and they were all dying to meet me! So I agreed, we went. The year was 1994, I was 19 years old.
    • We were driving for a few hours, and I was absolutely worn out. We then stopped at what seemed to be a police station or the local sheriff's office, the luggage was taken out of the jeep, and these men came and took the luggage away, Yasseen came over and took my personal belongings, everything, my passport, money even my toothbrush, he said the police wanted to check our things, in case we were smuggling drugs, I remember laughing at first, but when I looked at his face, he was deadly serious, I gave him everything and then I was taken to a room, where I was told to wait. They asked Yasseen questions.
    • Finally, a middle aged man came over and started to ask me personal questions. I had trouble understanding what he was saying, he spoke so fast, in Urdu. I kept asking him to take me to Yasseen. He said "Yasseen has gone", those three words stopped my heart beating, I was alone in a remote village in Pakistan, with no belongings and locked up a room.
    • I was not alone there were 3 other girls (Sikh) that were in the same situation as me. We were all kept on the top floor, we were all given one room each. The other girls had been there longer than me, we would get a chance to speak during the night. They told me of their stories and how they got here, they sounded familiar. It would be very cold during the night. They told me, on the 3rd day, what happens here. This where, the locals came to enjoy themselves. I was very frightened.

This is where they would come to quench their desires. I remember how they treated us, they would treat us like animals, they would rape us, and then spit on our faces after they were done. It was a living nightmare, with no escape.
    • I spent 15 months here, over that period of time, I have seen 36 more girls been brought here, I have some commit suicide and some taken away by rich businessmen who would use them in their own brothels.
    • A time came when me and another girl, got the opportunity to escape,
    • I am now 29, married and have a 3 year old girl. I re-initiated into Sikhism in 1998, me and my friend, we took Amrit and took an active role to combat what had happened to us and help others in the same situation.

  • pak
