    Respected Ashokji,

    Sadar Pranam(Obeissances unto you).
  • Ram Mandir movement was the greatest mass movement ever enacted in Indian history. Gandhi's mass movement had much lower participation, much fewer representations from every strata of society. The huge, unparalleled public support that we got was enough for demolishing that structure of four hundred and fifty years in just four and half hours. This public support ought to have been invested for the construction of Ram Temple.

    
    

    In lieu of canalizing that unprecedented public support towards construction of Ram Temple, we very wrongly diverted it towards gaining political power. Our acquired ‘capital’ flew into political canal. The logic that was put forward in defence of this line was that after acquiring power, the temple would be built up by enacting new legislation. Actually, in deep sub conscious mind of the leadership fatigue and greed worked on. The same thing happened to Congress leadership in 1947. 'How long should we not be in opposition?' ' How long should we carry out agitation and struggle?'
  • To compromise with ideology and to politicise this Ram Mandir issue--this was not a sole BJP decision, the whole of Sangha Parivar took the decision. So, BJP alone is not responsible for renouncing ideology.
  • Three domes were demolished and a temporary temple with clothes was made. After all these happened, Narasimha Rao dismissed the Kalyan Singh Govt. in UP at 5 in the afternoon. Clearance of the rubbles of the structure took one more day. Karsevaks took two more days to leave Ayodhya and Faizabad. The Govt. did not arrest a single person out of lakhs of Karsevaks.

    So called pro-Hindu BJP was not in power. How were all these possible with Congress, an out and out appeaser for Muslim votes being in power?
  • All these incidents clearly point out that Political leaders of all hue and cry understand the pulse of the people. Whether RSS has political power or not that does not matter. There was a great potentiality in the Ram Mandir movement and it was not an ordinary bomb but an atomic bomb which could unleash an earthquake beneath the chairs of Power and Pelf---this very truth was known to Rajiv, Narasimha and Congress. That is what made them comply with everything and bow down before the people’s sentiment. Their field is not people's power, their specialization is not on religious sentiment. Their only expertise is politics and they can play in political field only. As long as we were in our fields, we were in advantageous position. The moment we left our field and entered to play in their fields, we lost the advantage. The outcome,192 to 125. If we tread the same path, we shall reduce to cipher.
  • In a nutshell, not " First Power and then Temple" but " First temple and then power." We had to wait till we can win absolute majority on our own. Till that time we had to stick to temple issue and never to haste for power.
  • Today's Ram ( Hindu collective leadership) killed Bali ( demolition of Babri Masjid) and ascended the throne of Kiskindhya. So, Sita could not be rescued (Construction of Temple).

  • Dalit word unconstitutional: SC Commission

    RAIPUR, Jan 18: The National Commission for Scheduled Castes has asked the State Governments not to use the word ‘Dalit’ in official documents, saying the term was “unconstitutional”.

    The Commission has stated that sometimes the word ‘Dalit’ is used as a substitute for Scheduled Caste in official documents, sources in State Tribal Department said here today.

  • This “Dalit” word does not exist in Sanskrit, neither is it constitutional. Hindus should shun it like plague. It is only being promoted by the Church to give a false identity to a group of unrelated Hindu castes and organise them under a single banner so that they can take on the rest of Hindus. The church is a genocidal animal — remember Red Indians and Rwandans. Hindus should be careful about the vendors of religion of “love.”

  • [On 9 December 1992, three days after the historic demolition of the Babri Masjid, Girilal Jain wrote a seminal piece in The Times of India, which silenced all intellectual opposition or exposed that there was no legitimate intellectual argument against this spontaneous decision by nameless and faceless Ram bhaktas.

  • Implicit in the above is the proposition that while India did not cease to be India either under Muslim or British rule despite all the trials and tribulations, she was not fully Mother India. And she was not fully Mother India not because she was called upon to digest external inputs, which is her nature to assimilate, but because she was not free to throw out what she could not possibly digest in the normal and natural course, This lack of freedom to reject what cannot be assimilated is the essence of foreign conquest and rule. The meaning of Ayodhya is that India has regained, to a larger extent than hitherto, the capacity to behave and act as a normal living organism. She has taken another big step towards self-affirmation.

  • First, no living culture is ever wholly autonomous; for no culture is an airtight sealed box; Indian culture, in particular, has been known for its catholicity and willingness to give as well as take. It withdrew into a shell when it felt gravely threatened and became rigid; but that is understandable; indeed, the surprise, if any, is that Indian culture survived the Islamic and Western onslaught at all.

     

    Secondly, a culture, if it is not swallowed up by an incoming one, whether by way of proselytization or conquest or both, as the Egyptians and Iranians were by Islam, or if it is not destroyed as the Aztec was by the Portuguese and the Spaniards, must seek to recover; even Indians in Latin America have not given up the effort. Surely, since no one can possibly suggest that Indian culture was either swallowed up or destroyed; it is only natural that it should seek to recover its genuine self. Surely, this is neither an anti-Islamic nor anti-Western activity.

  • Similarly, while it cannot be denied that the RSS, the VHP, and the BJP have played a major role in mobilizing support for the cause of the temple, it should also be noted that they could not have achieved the success they have if the general atmosphere was not propitious and the time not ripe. Indeed, not to speak of Gandhiji who aroused and mobilized Hindus as no one had before him, fought the Christian missionary assault and successfully resisted the British imperialist designs to divide Harijans from Hindu society, it would be unfair to deny Nehru’s and Indira Gandhi’s contributions to the Hindu resurgence that we witness today. A civilizational revival, it may be pointed out, is a gradual, complex, and many-sided affair.

  • When a master idea seizes the mind, as socialism did in the twenties, and as Hindutva has done now, it must usher in radical change. In the twenties and the decades that followed before and after independence, conservative forces were not strong enough to resist the socialist idea. Similarly, conservative forces are not strong enough today to defeat the Hindutva ideal. There is a difference, though, for while the socialist ideal related primarily to economic reorganization and was elitist in its approach by virtue of being a Western import, Hindutva seeks, above all, to unleash the energies of a whole people which foreign rule froze or drove underground.

     

    When a historic change of this magnitude takes place, intellectual confusion is generally unavoidable. The human mind, as a rule, trails behind events; it is not capable of anticipating them. But it should be possible to cut through the mass of confusion and get to the heart of the matter.

     

    The heart of the matter is that if India’s vast spiritual (psychic in modern parlance) energies, largely dormant for centuries, had to be tapped, Hindus had to be aroused; they could be aroused only by the use of a powerful symbol; that symbol could only be Ram, as was evident in the twenties when the Mahatma moved millions by his talk of Ramrajya; once the symbol takes hold of the popular mind, as Ram did in the twenties and as it has done now, opposition to it generally adds to its appeal.

  • While almost everyone else is looking for scapegoats, to me it seems that every known actor is playing his or her allotted role in the vast drama that is being enacted. We are, as it were, witnessing the enactment of a modern version of Balmiki’s Ramayana.

  • The competition, as a shrewd Congress leader once said to me, has been between ‘communalism’ and ‘casteism’.

  • जी हाँ… अब सही समझे आप, आज 10 दिसम्बर को "विश्व मानवाधिकार दिवस" है, अब ज़रा सोचिये यदि हमारे महान मानवाधिकार संगठन न होते तो अफ़ज़ल गुरु को खुदा की गोद में (या शायद 72 हूरों की गोद में) बैठे कितने बरस बीत चुके होते, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हो रहा…।
    
    तात्पर्य यह कि, भाईयों जिस व्यक्ति की मौत लगभग तय हो चुकी हो, उसे पुनर्जन्म देने का काम किया है कांग्रेस और मानवाधिकार संगठनों ने, और आज मानवाधिकार दिवस है इसलिये हमें इसे अफ़ज़ल गुरु के "पुनर्जन्म दिवस" अर्थात बर्थ-डे के रूप में मनाना चाहिये।

  • नेपाल के बरियापुर में प्रत्येक पाँच वर्ष में एक त्योहार पर हजारों हिन्दू एकत्रित होते हैं, जहाँ एक पूजा के दौरान अनुमानतः लगभग 2 लाख पशु-पक्षियों की बलि दी जाती है।
  • इस अवसर पर गत 24 नवम्बर को हजारों मानवाधिकार कार्यकर्ताओं, “एनीमल राईट्स” और पशुप्रेमियों के संगठनों ने विरोध प्रदर्शनों में हिस्सा लिया। कई संगठनों ने इस परम्परा का कड़ा विरोध किया और इसके खिलाफ़ कई लेख आदि छापे गये।
  
  • … यदि किसी को पता हो कि न्यूयॉर्क टाइम्स ने कभी टर्कियों के इस बड़े पैमाने पर संहार के खिलाफ़ कुछ छापा हो तो अवश्य बताएं या लिंक दें। (चित्र -- जॉर्ज बुश टर्की की गरदन दबोचने की फ़िराक में…)
  
  • अब सवाल उठता है कि यदि 2 लाख प्राणियों को मारना “बर्बरता” और असभ्यता है तो 5 करोड़ टर्की और 10 करोड़ बकरों को मारना क्या है? सिर्फ़ “परम्परा” और “कुर्बानी” की पवित्रता??? इससे ऐसा लगता है, कि परम्पराएं सिर्फ़ मुसलमानों और ईसाईयों के लिये ही होती हैं, हिन्दुओं के लिये नहीं।
  • मैं व्यक्तिगत रूप से इस पशु बलि वाली बकवास धार्मिक परम्परा के खिलाफ़ हूं, लेकिन इस प्रकार का दोगलापन बर्दाश्त नहीं होता कि सिर्फ़ हिन्दुओं की परम्पराओं के खिलाफ़ माहौल बनाकर उन्हें असभ्य और बर्बर बताया जाये। सारे विरोध प्रदर्शन हिन्दुओं की परम्पराओं के खिलाफ़ ही क्यों भाई, क्या इसलिये कि हिन्दू हमेशा से एक "आसान टारगेट" रहे हैं?
  • जरा एक बार बकरीद के दिन मीडिया, मानवाधिकारवादी और एनिमल राईट्स के कार्यकर्ता कमेलों और कत्लगाहों में जाकर विरोध प्रदर्शन करके तो देखें… ऐसे जूते पड़ेंगे कि निकलते नहीं बनेगा उधर से… या फ़िर पश्चिम में "थैंक्स गिविंग डे" के दिन टर्कियों को मारने के खिलाफ़ कोई मुकदमा दायर करके देखें… खुद अमेरिका का राष्ट्रपति इनके पीछे हाथ-पाँव धोकर पड़ जायेगा… जबकि हिन्दुओं के साथ ऐसा कोई खतरा नहीं होता…

इसीलिये रतन टाटा वन्दनीय और "सरकारी व्यवस्था" निन्दनीय हैं

  • 26/11 को ताज होटल पर हमला हुआ। तीन दिनों तक घमासान युद्ध हुआ, जिसमें बाहर हमारे NSG और पुलिस के जवानों ने बहादुरी दिखाई, जबकि भीतर होटल के कर्मचारियों ने असाधारण धैर्य और बहादुरी का प्रदर्शन किया। 30 नवम्बर को ताज होटल तात्कालिक रूप से अस्थाई बन्द किया गया। इसके बाद रतन टाटा ने क्या-क्या किया, पहले यह देख लें -
  • 3) होटल के आसपास पाव-भाजी, सब्जी, मछली आदि का ठेला लगाने वाले सभी ठेलाचालकों (जो कि सुरक्षा बलों और आतंकवादियों की गोलाबारी में घायल हुए, अथवा उनके ठेले नष्ट हो गये) को प्रति ठेला 60,000 रुपये का भुगतान रतन टाटा की तरफ़ से किया गया। एक ठेले वाले की छोटी बच्ची भी "क्रास-फ़ायर" में फ़ँसने के दौरान उसे चार गोलियाँ लगीं जिसमें से एक गोली सरकारी अस्पताल में निकाल दी गई, बाकी की नहीं निकलने पर टाटा ने अपने अस्पताल में विशेषज्ञों से ऑपरेशन करके निकलवाईं, जिसका कुल खर्च 4 लाख रुपये आया और यह पैसा उस ठेले वाले से लेने का तो सवाल ही नहीं उठता था।
  • 8) घायल कर्मचारियों के सभी प्रमुख रिश्तेदारों को बाहर से लाने की व्यवस्था की गई और सभी को होटल प्रेसिडेण्ट में तब तक ठहराया गया, जब तक कि सम्बन्धित कर्मचारी खतरे से बाहर नहीं हो गया।
  • 9) सिर्फ़ 20 दिनों के भीतर सारी कानूनी खानापूर्तियों को निपटाते हुए रतन टाटा ने सभी घायलों के लिये एक ट्रस्ट का निर्माण किया जो आने वाले समय में उनकी आर्थिक देखभाल करेगा।
  • 10) सबसे प्रमुख बात यह कि जिनका टाटा या उनके संस्थान से कोई सम्बन्ध नहीं है, ऐसे रेल्वे कर्मचारियों, पुलिस स्टाफ़, तथा अन्य घायलों को भी रतन टाटा की ओर से 6 माह तक 10,000 रुपये की सहायता दी गई।
  
  • हो सकता है कि कुछ लोग कहें कि इसमें टाटा ने कौन सा बड़ा काम कर दिया, ये तो उनका फ़र्ज़ था? लेकिन क्या किसी अन्य उद्योगपति ने अरबों-खरबों कमाने के बावजूद इतनी सारी दुर्घटनाओं के बाद भी कभी अपने स्टाफ़ और आम आदमी का इतना खयाल रखा है?

  • Turkey’s Islamist Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was being faithful to his creed when he declared, “Mosques are our barracks, minarets our bayonets, domes our helmets, the believers our soldiers.” Sheikh Youssef al-Qaradawi, a fascist Sunni imam with a huge following among those who subscribe to the Muslim Brotherhood’s antediluvian worldview, was more to the point when he thundered at an event organised by London’s then Labour mayor Ken Livingstone, “The West may have the atom bomb, we have the human bomb.”
  • For 57.5 per cent of Swiss citizens, the minaret, an obligatory adjunct to a mosque which is used by the muezzin to call the faithful to prayers five times a day, is now a “political symbol against integration”. They view each new minaret as marking the transmogrification of Christian Europe into Islamic Eurabia. The Islamic minaret, according to Swiss People’s Party legislator Ulrich Schluer, has come to represent the “effort to establish sharia’h on European soil”. Hence the counter-effort to ban their construction.
  • Resentment against assertive political Islam has been building up in Switzerland for almost a decade, triggered by refugees from Yugoslavia’s many civil wars seeking to irreversibly change the Swiss way of life to suit their twisted notions of Islam’s supremacy.
  • The resultant vote — 57.5 per cent endorsing the proposed amendment to the Constitution with 42.5 opposing it — provides some interesting insights. For instance, the Swiss Government and Parliament, which are opposed to the amendment, clearly suffer from a disconnect with the Swiss masses. The voting pattern also shows that the spurious ‘cosmopolitan spirit’ of Zurich, Geneva and Basel, where people voted against the ban by a narrow margin, is not shared by most Swiss. The initiative has got 19.5 of the 23 cantonal votes — Basel city Canton, with half-a-vote and the largest Muslim population in Switzerland, barely defeated the initiative with 51.61 per cent people voting against it. This only goes to show that the Left-liberal intelligentsia may dominate television studio debates, as is often seen in our country, but it neither influences public opinion nor persuades those whose perception of the reality is not cluttered by bogus ‘tolerance’ of the intolerant.

  • Andhra Pradesh has been liberally spending government money for construction of churches and mosques and subsidies to Christian and Muslim pilgrimages and grants for marriages among the ‘minority communities. Reddy, it is necessary to say, was a Christian. Some Rs 10.8 lakh were given to 12 churches in Chittoor district, Rs 20 lakh to 20 churches in Kurnool district, Rs 29 lakh to 27 churches in Guntur district and in all over Rs one crore to 188 churches in the state. Is that secularism?
  • So much has been written about Madhu Koda. As Chief Minister of Jharkhand, a predominantly tribal state, he apparently made over Rs 4,000 crore which sounds unbelievable considering that Koda is a tribal, lacking financial sophistication and high education. How did he make his fortune?
  • Could a simple tribal have done that all on his own? One requires highly knowledgeable mentors to advise on how to make massive and worldwide financial commitments. Who are these mentors who guided Koda in indulging in questionable deals around the world? If a mere tribal who was once dismissed as a simpleton could amass over Rs 4,000 crores, one must take a fresh look at tribal leaders in all their professed innocence.
  • But Koda is not an exception. What comes as a shock-and a vastly greater shock-is the amount amassed by the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy during his five-year rule in Andhra Pradesh. The total value of his assets comes to nearly Rs 10,000 crore which makes Koda’s assets chicken feed.
  • the Government of Andhra Pradesh has been managing and administering temples and other places of Hindu worship, but not mosques and churches. Why this discrimination? A temple is a private institution. If its authorities misuse funds it is for the public to take action. Even more annoying is the fact that many of the government-appointed temple administrators are non-Hindus, as if Hindus cannot be trusted. According to Chowdary-and there is no reason to question his credibility-"some of the non-Hindus are colluding with the predators of Hindus, namely evangelists and missionaries, to alienated the properties of temples to facilitate evangelism in and around Hindu temples".

  • After all Britain's sudden and explicit acceptance of Chinese sovereignty over Tibet has already put India, the largest Commonwealth member state, in a spot.
    
    Not many are aware of the fact that since the days of British imperialism, London has played a crucial coordinating role on the issue of Tibet having a stake in the region. Such is the secrecy that even the original map of the region has been marked classified and is out of bounds for common people.
  • One of them is Aksai Chin, part of the erstwhile Indian province of Kashmir that was annexed into the Xinjiang autonomous region by China in the 1950s.
    
    This huge tract of land was originally within the ambit of the Sikh Confederacy of the Punjab region in India until their defeat at the hands of the British Army in 1846. It is a sparsely inhabited desert area of salt flats situated about 5,000 meters above sea level that falls within the historical Kashmir-Tibet trade route.
  • The other dispute involves the Indian province of Arunachal Pradesh regarded by China as South Tibet. This region having references in Hindu scriptures is usually believed to have been a vassal state of Tibet.
    
    Some of the families living there retain their ancestral tax papers stamped by the Lhasa headquartered Tibetan government even today. Part of this territory was administered by the Bhutanese Kingdom and erstwhile Myanmar (Burma) till the complete annexation of India by the British in 1858.
    
    It was a gateway to Lhasa and an important trading route connecting Tibet to the nearest port at Kolkata. The sixth Dalai Lama was born in a place called Tawang in the northwestern part of the province and the problem of sovereignty lies with the Chinese claim over Tibet.
  • Now that London has suddenly shifted the goalposts virtually disowning the 1914 treaty due to geopolitical and economic considerations, New Delhi's claim over the north eastern territories is bound to be compromised.

  • पटना में शनिवार को साधु-संतों की एक सभा को संबोधित करते हुए तोगडिया ने बिहार सरकार पर अरोप लगाया कि वह अल्पसंख्यक छात्रों को पैसे बांट रही है, मगर उसे हिन्दुओं का कोई ख्याल नहीं है।
    तोगड़िया ने कहा कि किसी गरीब हिन्दू बच्चे नीतीश कुमार को कुछ नहीं मिलेगा लेकिन यहीं पर यदि आप तस्लीमुद्दीन हैं तो सरकार आपको पढ़ाई के लिए 10 हजार रुपये देगी।
    तोगड़िया ने प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह के उस बयान के लिए उनकी भी आलोचना की, जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि देश के संसाधनों पर पहला हक मुसलमानों का है। विहिप नेता ने कहा कि आज इस देश में हिन्दू होना ही गुनाह हो गया है। हिन्दुओं को नौकरी नहीं मिल रही है, परतु अल्पसंख्यकों को नौकरी बांटी जा रही है।

  • लिब्रहान आयोग की रपट का अध्ययन करने के बाद यही लगता है कि यह रपट तत्व की दृष्टि से भी कमजोर है और इसमें तथ्य भी कम हैं। इस रपट को तैयार करने वालों ने जो तथ्य जुटाए भी हैं उसे अपने पूर्वाग्रहों के साथ प्रस्तुत किया है।
  • दूसरी तरफ आयोग को कांशीराम का वह बयान याद नहीं आता जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि राम जन्म भूमि पर तो शौचालय बना देना चाहिए। आयोग ने कम्युनिस्टों द्वारा उस समय की जा रही जहरीली टिप्पणियों की भी अनदेखी की।
  • आयोग ने कहा है कि किशोर कारसेवकों का एक जत्था सबसे पहले कूदा था। आयोग की अगंभीरता का अंदाजा इससे लगाया जा सकता है कि सत्रह साल की जाच के बाद भी वह यह पता नहीं लगा पाया कि वे किशोर कौन थे?
  • उसने मेरा नाम भी इस सूची में डाल दिया है, जबकि मुझसे कभी कोई पूछताछ नहीं की। घटना हुई 6 दिसंबर 1992 को और मैं अप्रैल 1992 से लेकर अप्रैल 1993 तक तमिलनाडु में संघ का काम देख रहा था। हमसे कई गुना ज्यादा सक्रिय तो बूटा सिंह थे। उनका नाम आयोग ने नहीं दिया। इसके अलावा राजीव गाधी का नाम देना भी आयोग भूल गया। याद रहे कि 1991 में राजीव गाधी ने चुनाव प्रचार की शुरुआत आयोध्या से की थी। ताला भी उन्होंने ही खुलवाया था। इसलिए असली दोषी तो उन्हें माना जाना चाहिए, पर आयोग इन तथ्यों से जानबूझ कर गाफिल बना रहा।
  • आयोग ने अपनी रपट में कई बातों का उल्लेख किया है, लेकिन 1990 का विवरण नहीं दिया। अयोध्या में 30 अक्टूबर 1990 को भी कारसेवा हुई थी। उस वक्त के मुख्यमंत्री मुलायम सिंह यादव ने कहा था कि ढाचे पर परिंदा पर नहीं मार सकता। ऐसे बयानों के जरिए हिंदू समाज की भावनाओं के साथ किस तरह खिलवाड़ किया गया, इसका कोई विवरण आयोग ने नहीं दिया है। जवाब तो इस सवाल का ढूंढा जाना चाहिए कि आखिर 6 दिसंबर की घटना हुई ही क्यों? 6 दिसंबर की घटना न जरूरी थी और न ही यह पूर्व नियोजित थी। इस घटना को सत्ता-व्यवस्था द्वारा दबाई गई भावनाओं के उभार का नतीजा कहा जाएगा।
  • जो भी वहा हुआ न तो उसकी सराहना की जा सकती है और न ही आलोचना की जा सकती है। 6 दिसंबर को न तो शौर्य दिवस माना जा सकता है और न ही कलंक दिवस। अगर शौर्य दिवस ही मानना हो तो 30 अक्टूबर 1990 को मानाया जाना चाहिए। उस दिन मुलायम सिंह की धमकियों के बावजूद अयोध्या में कारसेवा हुई थी।
  • 6 दिसंबर की घटना ने बड़ा गंभीर और गहरा संदेश दिया है, बशर्ते उसे कोई समझना चाहे। भारतीय राजनीति का अल्पसंख्यकवाद ऐसी घटनाओं में बदल कर सामने आता रहेगा। 6 दिसंबर की घटना नौकरशाही द्वारा लोगों की भावनाओं को नहीं समझ पाने का नतीजा है, क्योंकि नौकरशाही ने वक्त के तकाजे के हिसाब से उस समय के भावनात्मक उभार से निपटने की कोशिश नहीं की। इसके अलावा न्यायपालिका द्वारा की जा रही गैर-जरूरी देरी ने भी लोगों के मन में आक्रोश भरने का काम किया। सुनवाई की तारीख 2 दिसंबर से बढ़ाकर 11 दिसंबर सिर्फ इसलिए कर दी गई कि जजों की छुट्टी थी और वे उसमें कोई कटौती नहीं करना चाहते थे। वे अपनी छुट्टी के आगे अयोध्या में एकत्रित बड़े जनसमूह की भावनाओं को समझने के लिए तैयार नहीं थे।

  • पास्ट लाइफ रिग्रेशन की इन दिनों खूब चर्चा है। भले ही इसकी चर्चा किसी शो के बहाने हो रही हो, लेकिन सच यही है कि यह कोई नई चीज नहीं है। भारतीय ही नहीं, तमाम सभ्यताओं और संस्कृतियों के लोगों को सदियों से इसमें विश्वास रहा है और वे अपने फायदे के लिए इसे यूज भी करते रहे हैं:
  • पुनर्जन्म है आधार
    दरअसल, पास्ट लाइफ रिग्रेशन थेरेपी का सिद्धांत आधारित है पुनर्जन्म के सिद्धांत पर। हिंदू सहित तमाम धर्मों, संप्रदायों और सभ्यताओं में पुनर्जन्म के सिद्धांत पर विश्वास किया जाता है। इसके अलावा, यह थेरेपी काफी हद तक 'कॉज ऐंड इफेक्ट' थिअरी पर भी आधारित है। गौरतलब है कि ये दोनों ही सिद्धांत भगवद्गीता के मूल आधार हैं।
  • डॉ. के. न्यूटन के अनुसार, महर्षि पतंजलि ने अपने 'योग सूत्र' में पास्ट लाइफ रिग्रेशन को 'प्रति प्रसव' यानी 'री-बर्थ' के नाम से उल्लेख किया है। 'प्रति प्रसव' के दौरान व्यक्ति अपनी स्मृतियों या मेमरीज को दोबारा जीता है। व्यक्ति जब मेमरीज में जाकर अपनी समस्याओं के कारण, उसके दर्द और संवेदना को दोबारा जीता है, तो इस प्रक्रिया में काफी हद तक वह उनसे छुटकारा पा लेता है। मुंबई की क्लिनिकल साइकॉलजिस्ट व रियलिटी शो 'राज पिछले जनम का' की एक्सपर्ट थेरेपिस्ट डॉ. तृप्ति जैन कहती हैं, 'पास्ट लाइफ रिग्रेशन थेरेपी में व्यक्ति को प्रॉब्लम की जड़ तक पहुंचने में मदद की जाती है। इस प्रक्रिया में जब वह प्रॉब्लम के पीछे छिपे कारण को जीता है, तो वह समझ जाता है कि यह वजह उसके मौजूदा दौर से संबंधित न होकर पिछले किसी जन्म से है और इस अहसास भर से ही उसे पिछली भावनाओं या अनुभवों से छुटकारा मिल जाता है।'
