    • Sisters, beware of the stupid love terror!
    • By Dr Purushothama Bharathi, MA, Ph.D
    • During the last one and a half years, the society of Kerala was noticing a new phenomenon that a large number of poor Hindu teen aged girls were falling in love with Muslim youths and getting converted to Islam. The girls who married Muslims and refused conversion were tortured and thrown out after sexual exploitations by the respective Muslims. Initially it was considered the consequences of blind love. But later it was observed that all Muslim boys in love with Hindu girls were having two mobile phones, one of which was given to the girl with a valid sim card. Muslim boys from poor family background were found to be spending money on their Hindu girlfriends and taking them around on the pillion of the bikes of other Muslim boys. At times, it was noticed that when a girl was taken to the house of a Muslim boy in an autorickshaw, the girl was forced to change her dress to a purdah inside the autorickshaw. Activists of the banned SIMI, Campus Front, Popular Front (all are Muslim outfits) are in the forefront to defend and protect the love affairs of the Muslim boys.

In the meanwhile, few girls who managed to run back home and those thrown out in the streets by the Muslim lovers, filed cases against forced conversion and alimony. The number of cases increased and reports frequently appeared in the newspapers. Then various Hindu communal organisations like Nair Service Society, Ezhava outfits shouted that more than 4,000 Hindu girls were taken away through the love jihad operations of devilish Muslims.

Syrian Christian Bishops issued circulars and were read in churches, to fight against love jihad and warned parents about the dangers hidden in the fake love of Muslims.
    • The High Court of Kerala called for the remarks of Kerala Government and the DGP of Kerala gave a report that ‘The Police is unaware of an organised Love Jihad Movement’. The present Director General of Police (DGP) of Kerala, Shri Jacob Punnose is a follower of Marxist party and he got that official position by overlooking the seniority of a worthy officer. The Marxists are in alliance with Shri Abdul Nasser Madani, the notorious criminal of Coimbatore bomb blast case and who brought up Tadiyanta Vida Nazir, the South Indian commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba, arrested in Bangladesh and handed over to India.
    • The large number of love jihad cases in the High Court of Kerala filed by broken girls and their families forced the Court to look into the matter very deeply and Justice KT Sankaran observed that ‘Even though the DGP reported that there was no evidence of love jihad, confidential reports of other senior Police officers are very clearly establishing the organised and well funded love jihad operations thriving in high schools and colleges of Muslim managements. This move is vivid in Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode and Malappuram districts - all these districts have a high percentage of Muslim population in Kerala.
    • Smart Front is a Muslim organisation working in the Muslim educational institutions to promote love affairs with Hindu girls. The High Court observed that the Smart Front is focusing on forward caste Hindu girls and forward Christian girls especially those studying in professional colleges and working in the IT sector. Muslim Youth Forums, Popular Front, NDF, Campus Front and Muslim Women Organisations like Tashreen Millat and Shaheen Force are also active in love jihad, court observed.
    • High Court also hinted that the above organisations are funded by the local Muslim businessmen and Muslim countries abroad. High Court said that inter caste marriages are not bad; but if conversion to Islam is a must then it is clear that Islam is more valuable than love.

Himachal’s rich temples too poor to afford ...

  • tags: no_tag

    • By: Satyakam Bharti
    • But money being money, the state government is justified in feeling the heat of more than 410 kgs of gold (valued above Rs 70 crore) lying unused with it. Perhaps not a great amount to catapult the state economy into a thriving one, nevertheless a decent amount to do the cleaning job in at least the shrines to which the treasure belongs. According to a report, in 2006, Chintpurni Devi temple, the richest of all shrines in the state, alone made a collection of over Rs 20 crore cash besides more than 20 kg of gold. That is certainly lot of money considering that majority of Himachali companies, if there are any genuine ones, may not be having that kind of yearly turnover.
    • Though from time to time people have been questioning use of funds generated by these temples, hardly has any such audit ever been made public. The last time a hue and cry was made was after the Naina Devi tragedy but nothing great seems to be happening. The temples are collecting public money and therefore the public needs to be informed how this money is being spent. Leave aside providing world-class infrastructure, the temple managements can at least assure cleanliness, and I am sure the crores that devotees donate are enough for this job. It would have done a great service to the devotees had the government announced that the interest it expects to earn from these gold reserves would be used to keep these places clean, but that was not to be.
    • The problem is more visible in the Hindu society with the Brahaminical order making sure that the caste divide remains visible enough. Perhaps, that’s the reason cleanliness in a Hindu temple stops beyond the sanctum santorum.

Congress robs all Hindus 15 per cent of jobs and 15 per cent of college seats

    • Violating the Constitution
    • Congress robs all Hindus 15 per cent of jobs and 15 per cent of college seats
    • By OP Gupta, IFS (Retd)
    • All serving Hindu officers should take note that the Commission has recommended reservation of 15 per cent of posts for religious minorities in all cadres and grades under the Central and State Governments. It means that from the date of its implementation 15 per cent posts in the grade of Secretary to Govt of India, and in all other grades of Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary etc. shall get reserved for minority officers which will retard career prospects of many Hindu Additional secretaries and may result into many Hindu officers getting forced to serve under their own junior minority religion officers. This would happen all over India whether school teachers, lecturers, constables, clerks, engineers, deputy collectors, inspectors of police, customs, income tax, PSU officials etc.

So it is high time that all Hindu officials and all those Hindus who aspire to join public services should come out of their secular slumber and open their eyes to see that it is Congress aided and abetted by Communists and various parties that is going to harm their interests permanently and irreversibly.
    • The Misra Commission has made a false claim that Muslims are under represented in services. Supporters of Muslim reservation say that Muslims are about 13.5 per cent of population but in IAS etc their representation are much less at about four per cent. For getting into class one services one has to be a graduate. Vide its own table 3.6 Misra Commission reports that graduation percentage of Muslims is only 3.6

Do Indians love taking orders from a foreigner?

  • tags: no_tag

    • Do Indians love taking orders from a foreigner?
    • By Dr Jay Dubashi
    • To an Afghan, liberty comes first, everything else is secondary. To an Indian, to hell with liberty, as long as the white man offers you a good job in New York, with a car thrown in. In a couple of years from now, the Americans will have left Afghanistan, a sad lot. But we shall still have a prime minister taking orders from a foreigner, sixty years after the so-called Independence!
    • The Afghans are not really a nation; they are more like a collection of tribes who most of the time fight against one another unless there is a strong force at the centre to bind them together. But no matter how bitterly they fight against each other, they are one when it comes to fighting a common enemy. One must remember that Afghanistan is one of the poorest countries of the world, if not the poorest, but this has not prevented them from uniting against a common enemy, even as rich as the United States or the Soviet Union. This is the third time in history they have put the invader to flight, though initially the invader came and was received as a friend.
    • What I am concerned with is not what the Afghans did, but how the Americans and earlier, the British and the Russians were forced out of the country. How is it, one may ask, the Afghans repeatedly throw foreigners out of their country, which is not really a country and rarely has a government worth the name, while we Indians, or to be more precise, we Hindus, have not been able to do in a thousand years? Why is it that foreigners are able to stay put in Afghanistan only a few years-about ten years maximum-while they come and stay in India for centuries, rule over us as if it was their fathers' jagir, and we do nothing about it century after century, and, in fact, join them in running the country as their khidmatgars?
    • A nation without self-respect is not a nation at all. The first rule of Independence is self-reliance, and pride is one's capacity and institutions. This is the main difference between an Afghan and an Indian. The Afghan will not leave the invader at peace, whether he comes with a tank or a missile, or with computers. A foreigner is a foreigner, period. For Indians, a foreigner is a demi-God, who brings in money and technology and latest films from Hollywood, never mind that, in the process, he enslaves you and saps your self-respect and leaves you maimed for life. This is why Naipaul said that Indians and Indian society were a damaged lot, damaged by centuries of alien rule and alien cultures.

Have a tryst with the mythical age in Orissa

  • tags: no_tag

    • By Byomakesh Biswal
    • Come December, during the festival of Dhanu Yatra, small town Bargarh turns into an open-air stage with its denizens becoming actors and playing their part in the mythological drama of Lord Krishna’s visit to his uncle Kansa’s place, culminating in the killing of the demon king.
    • However, one aberration in the mythical drama is Kansa’s character. Unlike the demonic description in the mythology, this Kansa is a lovable character during this 11-day drama starting from Monday. He solves local problems, taking errant officials to task on the spot.
    • Hrusikesh Bhoi, who plays Kansa, said: “I love the adulation from the people despite playing the part of a demon. The local people apprise me of their problems. If anybody is found guilty, they are pulled up instantly and punished with fine. The officials are bound to obey my orders during these 11 days as I am the ruler of Bargarh.”
    • “On one occasion, former chief minister Biju Pattnaik was fined on this stage. A division revenue collector was also pulled up and fined 300,000 swarna mudras (gold coins), leaving him bewildered,” said Budhadev Pradhan, a former director of the play.

Copenhagen hangover: RK Pachauri under attack

  • tags: no_tag

    • THE DAY after the Copenhagen climate summit came to an end, a personal attack followed on Dr R K Pachauri, the chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and director general of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi by a conservative right wing newspaper of Britain.
    • Coming back to the Sunday Telegraph story, the writers even targeted Pachauri’s call to opt for vegetarian food saying ‘as a vegetarian Hindu, Dr Pachauri repeated his call for the world to eat less meat to cut down on methane emissions’.

But his colleagues in TERI stood behind him here saying, “We stand by Dr Pachauri’s advice for human beings to cut down on their meat consumption because the livestock and factory based meat supply industry of today is responsible for large scale emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs).”

VHP’s Gram Vikas Pramukh convention

  • tags: no_tag

    • The conversion activities in this region have been going on since British period and that may be one of the reason there are churches even in remote villages of Tamil Nadu. Most of the people at managerial posts in tea gardens are Christians who normally misuse their posts and power to influence the labourers into Christianity. The labourers who refuse to come under their pressure are tortured through various means. There are attempts to convert Hindus into Christianity in this region through schools, hostels, dispensaries and hospitals.
