    • Names of 2 Hindus who were killed by the Muslims with sharp weapons are Manik Mandal and Gopal Mandal of Jhaubona. Another Hindu, Sumanta Mandal got serious injury on shoulder and left hand. He is now fighting for life at

      One Muslim student of class XI, name Minarul, died in hospital after he got injury in scuffle in the school. Minarul was adamant to perform Namaz in school. He challenged all Hindu students to stop him to perform namaz.

    • All Hindu shops at Trimohini market have been looted and burnt.

      All 25 Hindu houses of Darapara village (a part of Jhaubona) have been looted and burnt.

      The whole attack on Hindus was pre planned. Notorious Muslim criminals were brought in and were lodged in the large mosque at Trimohini market.

    • All roads towards Jhaubona have been sealed by police. Nobody is being allowed to enter the area. In Beldanga town, prohibitory order of sec. 144 has been clamped restricting any gathering.

    • China will launch an attack on India before 2012.

      There are multiple reasons for a desperate Beijing to teach India the final lesson, thereby ensuring Chinese supremacy in Asia in this century. The recession that shut the Chinese exports shop is creating an unprecedented internal social unrest. In turn, the vice-like grip of the Communists' over the society stands severely threatened.


    • Internal unrest is making China jittery
    • India's democracy is an eyesore for China
    • Why India is an ideal target for the Chinese: the most attractive option is to attack a soft target like India and forcibly occupy its territory in the Northeast.
    • China is worried by India's alliance with the US
    • Is India prepared for the Chinese threat?
    • All these three concerns of Chinese Communists are best addressed by waging a war against pacifist India to achieve multiple strategic objectives. But India, otherwise the biggest challenge to the supremacy of China in Asia, is least prepared on ground to face the Chinese threat.
    • How we must face the threat
    • India must rapidly shift out from its defeatist posture of pacifism to deter China. New Delhi's stance should modify, not to aggression, but to a firm assertion in statecraft.

    • Keeping in view the imminent threat posed by China, the quickest way to swing out of pacifism to state of assertion is by injecting military thinking in the civil administration to build the sinews. That will enormously increase the deliverables on ground -- from Lalgarh to Tawang.

    • लेखपाल ने ग्राम में पट्टों का आवंटन कर पूरे ग्राम को सांप्रदायिक तनाव के मुहाने पर खड़ा कर दिया। बिना मौका मुआयना किए ही पट्टों के आवंटन रेवड़ी की तरह बांटे गए। ग्रामप्रधान की निरक्षरता का लाभ उठाते हुए तत्कालीन लेखपाल ने पूरी कार्रवाई को अंजाम दिया।
    • हिन्दुओं का श्मशान व मुस्लिमों को हिन्दू देवी देवताओं के पूजा स्थलों के पट्टे बनाए गए, दलितों के मकानों के भी पट्टे जारी किए गए।
    • दस एकड़ के काश्तकारों के साथ-साथ गैर जनपद के लोगों के पट्टे भी बनाए गए। पट्टों के आवंटन की कार्रवाई में आरोपित कानूनगो ही कब्जा दिला रहे हैं।

समानता पर दोहरापन

    • यह विचित्र बात है कि जो लोग समलैंगिकों के लिए समान अधिकार की वकालत करते दोहरे हो रहे हैं वही लोग मुस्लिम महिलाओं को हिंदू या ईसाई महिलाओं के समान अधिकार देने के प्रश्न पर होंठ सी लेते हैं।
    • यहां प्रश्न आधारभूत सिद्धातों का भी है। यदि कोई मुस्लिम बुरका पहनना चाहती है तो कोई बात नहीं, किंतु किसी गैर-मुस्लिम व्यक्ति को भी अधिकार है कि वह किसी के साथ संवाद करे या न करे। बुरके में बंद काया से संवाद मानो किसी क्लोज सर्किट कैमरे के साथ बात करने जैसी स्थिति है, जो आपको देख रहा है, पर आप उसे नहीं देख सकते। अत: दूसरे को भी इस असहज स्थिति से बचने का अधिकार है।
    • अत: बुरका मुस्लिम महिलाओं की पसंद नहीं है। यह इससे भी स्पष्ट है कि अफगानिस्तान में तालिबान शासकों ने मुस्लिम महिलाओं को जबर्दस्ती क्रूरता और हिंसा के द्वारा ही बुरके में बंद किया था।
    • अत: बुरके को मुस्लिम महिलाओं का अधिकार बताना इस्लामी प्रवक्ताओं की चालाकी है, जिससे वे गैर-मुस्लिमों को बरगलाना चाहते हैं। जो मुस्लिम महिलाएं इसकी वकालत करती भी हैं वे पिंजड़े में बंद प्रशिक्षित पखेरू सी हैं।
