The benefits of Congress winning more seats than BJP in the Loksabha elections!

HH Dr. Jayant Athavale
HH Dr. Jayant Athavale
A. ‘ Had BJP won more seats than Congress the Hindus would have lived on false hope. They would have left the efforts for the defence of Nation and Dharma. Thus the defeat of BJP would make the Hindus to continue with their efforts.( BJP however will not realise that ‘ we lost because we left Hinduism’.)

B. The benefits of Congress winning more seats are as follows

B1. The thought that ‘whatever we do the people elect us only’ will become firmly embedded in the minds of Congress people which will make their state like the arrogant demons. This will prompt them to do many anti- National and anti- Dharma actions and they will torture the Nation and Dharma loving people more and more. This will further create anger in the minds of Nation and Dharma loving people and which will lead to increase in their number till 2012 and they will become strong enough to work towards the establishment of Hindu nation replacing the democracy which has taken nation to a very low level.

B2. When a ball is thrown up above it comes down and down , hits the ground and then bounces up again. Similarly in the reign of Congress the state of Nation and Dharma will rapidly deteriorate and after 2012 it will be on the way to improvement. After 2018 the dream of Nation and Dharma loving people will be realised and there will be establishment of Divine Kingdom that is Hindu Nation. ( In the mean time there will be Third World War leading to decrease in the population of world as well as that of Bharat by 30%)’

The victory of Congress in the elections is going to take Hindus towards Righteous evolution !

A. Since the Congress rule is full of demonic tyranny its leaders will not be able to revive democracy

B. The present condition of Congress is according to the saying ‘ Intellect deteriorates before destruction’

C . Some examples to show that the vessels of sin committed by Congress are reaching the brim and proportion of the sin

D. The victory of congress is vey important for evolution of Hindus and the stages in this process of evolution

E. The present state of Congress

E1. Though the Congress is currently on the path to its destruction ,its members have become blind due to activities predominant in Tama component. Thus their present state is such that they do not see their future at all.

E2. H.H. Dr Athavale’s prophetic expressions about Congress: It is undoubtedly true that arrogant Congress is leading to its doom; that is why H.H.Dr. Athavale has commented that if the rule of Congress is returned on Bharat , it will benefit Bharat byway of revitalisation of Dharma. The arrogant Congress people should remember that this expression of Saint will never become false.

Protest against TOI for Perverted reporting of Shankaracharya

Protest Perverted reporting of Shankaracharya's news by Times of India!

Times of India has published an article 'Sexy Mallika's a pure soul', in which they defamed Hindu Dharmaguru Sri Shankaracharya.

The following statements in the Times of India news 'Sexy Mallika's a pure soul' on 09-05-2009 are deliberately insulting Shankaracharya.

1.Sexy Mallika (There is no need of the adjective sexy but is deliberately put to malign the Swamiji. This shows the perversion in the mind of media. Saints do not look at the worldy aspect of any individual but only at the desire or yearning for God a person has and their only aim is to help person realise God.The ignorance of media is pitiable)

2.If apsara Menaka could seduce sage Vishvamitra, then our Bollywood seductress Mallika Sherawat too could distract a ‘mutt’ful of sadhus! (By this statement it is being projected that Sadhus get enticed by women. This is a great insult of our sadhus who have given up their worldly pleasure for God realisation.Would the media dare to mention anything about the Prophet and his 28 wives?)

3.said the Menaka, oops, Mallika of Bollywood. (This is again deliberate insult of Apsara Menaka by comparing Mallika with Menaka)

From Editor's desk : Implied meaning of Ajamal’s Jihadi laugh

From Editor's desk : Implied meaning of Ajamal’s Jihadi laugh
May 14, 2009

Judge Tahiliyani instructed Kasab to be serious during the proceedings; but it does not appear to have any effect on him. We should find out the meaning behind his Jihadi laugh.

Muslim League had a slogan in 1947 which meant that ‘We got Pakistan after fighting we would capture Hindustan just smilingly’. British had left Bharat (India) through ‘Gate Way of India’ and Ajamal Kasab and his associates also had entered Bharat through the same route on 26/11. Muslim League had demanded that as British had captured their kingdom they should hand it over to them only while leaving Bharat. Muslims do not forget their demands or turn back on them easily as they have tremendous will power. We forgot exactly that and we were not at all vigilant to protect our western coast. We are in a hurry to forget the past. We have also imbibed the virtue of forgetting the crimes of the criminals.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said recently that we should forget the riot and the killings of Sikhs in 1984. This type of advice is apt when the culprits are punished for their crime; but the Congressmen were instrumental in starting the said riot; hence the question of punishing them does not arise. Since Kasab knows that all crimes by Muslims and Congressmen are pardoned in a country following Gandhi philosophy, he dares to laugh

Karad (Maharashtra): Devout Hindus submitted a representation to Dy. District Coillector and Dy. Superintendent of Police protesting against Muslim oppression so also against harassment by anti-Hindu police.

It has been mentioned in the representation that in Wagheri, Hindus have been tolerating Muslims atrocities for quite some time. Muslims have been troubling Hindu girls, Hindus are persecuted for petty reasons. (What else is expected in a pro-Muslim Congress regime? – Editor) Many Hindus have therefore, left Wagheri and shifted to other places.

Election 2009: BJP got what it deserved

Election 2009: BJP got what it deserved

Radha Rajan

When ambition overrode ideology

while all of Congress’ problems were external to the party, BJP’s problems were all from within.

The BJP suffers from seven problems – Advani, Jaswant Singh, Murli Manohar Joshi, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Narendra Modi and Rajnath Singh; each one’s coterie expanding their personal agendas in an oceanic circle, some of them expanding across the Atlantic and the Pacific and then coming back to Indian shores as returning currents with ambitious jetsam and flotsam riding on their crests. Venkaiah Naidu for some reason opted out of the race in 2004.

They all think they are Prime Ministerial matter; after Vajpayee, Advani thought he had the automatic right of inheritance while the remaining six think they have automatic right of inheritance after Advani.

The Problem Seven, in the last 10 years have done two things – they have ruthlessly decimated or kept at bay other challengers to the throne in the states and in Delhi, while simultaneously doing everything to make sure that the other six in the group do not take even half a step in the direction of becoming party president which is the penultimate chair before the throne; and that is why, despite losing the elections in 2004 and now in 2009, Advani continues to remain at the top. Advani’s continuation is the only way to prevent the others from getting there. The top leadership is therefore septuagenarian or octogenarian, the second rung leadership is already aged and the third rung is aging fast and frustrated. This group has held the BJP hostage through their coteries, each coterie more cut-throat than the others.

Ask any ordinary political minded Hindu on the street what he/she thinks the BJP stands for and we will have the answer to why the BJP’s downward slide is unstoppable. The BJP’s descent was accelerated with Advani’s public pronouncement that good governance does not need ideology. This was as good as saying that a family is only an involuntary collective of individuals and can function efficiently without family values.

For all that the BJP claims it is different from the Congress, any one who has studied the freedom movement, not as insipid history in school text books, but as a real drama unfolding through its dramatis personae, would realize that the BJP today finds itself in the same position that the INC found itself repeatedly, first in 1908 when the Hindu nationalist leadership - Tilak, Aurobindo and Savarkar - had been decimated and the Congress floundered leaderless and clueless and without an identity until Gandhi began to use it as a vehicle for his agenda; then in the late 1930s decade when Gandhi had failed on all fronts but refused to relinquish control of the INC, and again in 1948 when after Gandhi, Nehru thought he had automatic right of inheritance.

Verdict 2009: Live in denial and things will improve automagically

---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: निरवधि सीमा

Verdict 2009 is out and I am frustrated too. I can't believe this. Things are just not adding up. We, at least I was blindly believing whatever, not to name any names, BJP senior karyakartas, campaign managers and spokespersons were saying about the ground realities, through Youtube videos, Daily Pioneer (I feel its the only unbiased newspaper in Bharat) and various Blogs. I was certainly not believing what majority of Indian media was saying because it is clearly 100% Pro-Congress. So then who was lying and/or was completely oblivious about the ground reality: media or BJP karyakarta?

The point is it can't just be media (although its a main cause certainly) and it certainly can't be Mr. Modi as some within the BJP are blaming to be which is completely ridiculous as the guy has done miracles in terms of development in Gujarat. Lets not be like Congress. If it wins then its because of Sonia & Rahul magic but if it looses then people are stupid, communal and it was because of Sardarji.

I guess the reason for BJP's loss is because of its party infighting, over confidence, not being able to reach the masses effectively in time, confusion over successions (democratically not monarchically), lack of portrayal of young faces and most certainly biased CEC Navin Chawla. Please don't take me wrong. BJP is definately more democratically structured than Congress's heir apparent monarchic structure. Its the ego of its own people which is not in BJP's control.

I mean seriously, you want me to believe that Election Commission of India has stirct Quality Control guidelines when their website for Electoral Name Checks was not working from the first day and Election Results website was down within first hour of going Live.

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोस्त्वकर्मणि॥
- श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता २-४७

We did our Karm but the results are not in our hands. May be we didn't do our Karm better than the others. So we have to continue and build BJP again ground up in all the states. And seriously please hold on to the Assembly states that you are in right now, please don't goof up like Rajasthan and try to get in the states that you are not in, even if it means sitting in opposition. It may take time but BJP can attract/recruit young blood as there is no dearth of that.

Please clear the misunderstanding people have about BJP like Kandahar, Parliament, Communal face, association with hooligans of SR Sene, no young blood, etc. more aggressively to the masses. Please continue with LK Advani forums & blogs as one of the medium for feedback from those who are privileged to access Internet in Bharat (number of privilidged masses ain't going to improve much under corrupt Congress in next 5 yrs) and outside. Please continue with connect with the masses exercises like Friends of BJP events, Bloggers for BJP and Advani@Campus. We started these very late. Had this been started more than a year ago, it would have had some very positive ripple effects. Certainly continuing with it now will have positive ripple effects for future. So please don't abandon them.

Too sad its certainly going to be an uphill task to save Shri Ram Sethu and Sanatan Vedic Dharm/Sanskruti. But we have done it in the past and by God's grace we will do it again. Just focus on development and cultural rejuvenation (civilly) in the states that you already have and don't let them go because of party infighting or corruption.

However, the first thing that BJP needs to do is to pull up its socks, don't let the sense of demoralization set in its Karyakata and Supporters/Voters like they did in 2004. We were so shocked and demoralized what had hit us that BJP was not on political map as it didn't accept the ground reality for over a year. Please send clear messages and put up offensive brave face and continue to build party base. Congress has proved lie said a thousand times becomes the truth and that is what BJP needs to do but the opposite. Say the truth a thousand times and people will eventually see it in clarity. We should have started Manmohan is weak campaign over 2-3 years ago. But no worries, now be so aggressive, hit them where it hurts. They have done that to us too. But make sure your message reaches larger audience and in positive manner. This is the era to be aggressive, offensive and assertive to counter the Christian-Muslim Rightist Congress by being a party for all. Make sure you tell people this because people want to hear it just to be sure as they are too dumb to notice it. But please don't let your party workers be demoralized and your core voters/supporters be disenchanted by this defeat. That would break the very back bone of the party.

And watch out for this guy Navin Chawla with hawk eyes and please find out what did Congress know that we didn't about the ground reality.

Thank you Advaniji for all your selfless and tireless contribution to Bharat and Sanatan Dharm. May God Shri Ram bless you, us and May God Shri Ram always bless Bharat.

Regards,
Seema

Why BJP lost : A view from David Frawley, a long standing friend of India.

My message to BJP is the same as what I would give to any organization: don't bank on nostalgia. India is the youngest nation in the world. To them many voters, BJP like Advani, Shekhawat & Co are museum pieces. Present a youthful and vigorous image. Rajnath Singh said that BJP did poorly because it didn't have Vajpayee. Surely, you need more useful analysis.

---Quite right. Rajnath is another museum piece. I remember speaking at the BJP Central office in Delhi in 1999 and finding that they had 11 Vice Presidents all above the age of 75, several of which could barely walk. I asked them why they didn't put young people in the job to prepare them and make them better known. They said that their policy was to honor the elderly. I told them they needed younger people, they shrugged it off.

Our books have succeeded because we can reach the youth. It is not just the message but how you frame it.

Advani at 81 should not have run and the attempt to repackage him was a failure. He had too much baggage. (Also irrelevant. NSR)

BJP lost because of six big reasons

Pathetic Messaging: It had good messages, but its promises were not believed by the electorate. For instance, the issue of security was blunted by Congress, as it repeatedly brought up the Kandahar issue. As I watched several debates on TV, I saw BJP leaders squirm whenever Kandahar was brought up. Frankly, Shri LKA was not percieved as majboot netaa, and his actions in past were not considered to be nirnayak.

Weak Opposition: Over last five years, the BJP had done a pathetic job as an opposition. For instance, I have a feeling, that on the issue of nuclear deal, BJP actually bailed out Congress (several of BJP's members did not vote against it). Ditto for terrorism, corruption (Natwar Singh), Quattrochi, .... I really do not understand as to what constrained BJP to come out in total open against UPA over last 5 yrs.

Fratricidal Wars: Between diverse elements of Sangh parivar, and also within BJP. The loss of Rajasthan assembly (and now Lok Sabha) should be sufficient for illustrative purposes.

Zero Presences in UP: In 1997, BJP had 50 seats from UP. In 2004, it had 10. Today it has 12. Do you think that this does not matter!!! UP is a game changer. BJP can ignore it only to its own peril.

Cultural: Indian culture is seeing very fundamental challenges, as the really "cool" stuff is beamed down thru TV channels which promote extreme versions of Western lifestyles and values. While the average Indian has not yet adopted these mores in very large numbers, the cultural elite of India (which also imo includes regular IT folks) consciously or unconsciously set the aspirational standards and goals for the aam aadmi. And the image projected by BJP as a party is inconsistent with what is hip in the eyes of aam aadmi (remember Massey Sahib). Thus the regular urban school/college going youth, I have a feeling, is emotionally not engaged with Hindu organization/ ideology. THis is a long term challenge, which will only amplify with passage of time, unless an effective strategy is crafted and put in place to dull the impact of this importan element.

A battle is lost, but not the war

Kanchan Gupta / Analysis

Later that evening, I made a passing reference to the ease with which he was predicting a BJP victory in the face of a concerted Congress assault. Mr Vajpayee laughed it off and then said, “Nobody can predict the outcome of an election, never mind what politicians and pollsters say.” Placing three fingers of his right hand face down on his left palm, he added, “Any election is like a game of ‘teen patti’ (three-card game). Till such time you turn the cards and see them, you can only guess what has been dealt to you. Similarly, till the votes are counted, nobody can say with any certitude what lies in store for the contestants.”

Yes, the Congress has made stupendous gains, but a close scrutiny of the results will show that they are not entirely at the expense of the BJP. Nor have the gains accrued to the Congress on account of either policy or programme.

In States where the BJP has lost seats to the Congress, the credit largely goes to saboteurs within the party. In Maharashtra, the BJP failed to correctly assess the strength of Mr Raj Thackeray’s MNS which has turned out to be a spoiler in Mumbai’s urban constituencies where the party stood a good chance of winning.

By default, the Congress has benefited on account of the BJP’s deficiencies. Nowhere is this more evident than in Uttar Pradesh where the BJP clearly failed to sense the shift in voter preference and ended up under-estimating its ability to pick up additional seats which have now gone to the Congress, swelling its national tally.

These reasons apart, at the end of the day what emerges is that the Congress has reached where it has on account of four factors whose impact could not have been predicted at any stage during the campaign when popular mood is palpable. First, the ‘Chiru factor’ has put paid to the TDP’s hopes of staging a comeback. The Congress has gained in the process. Second, the ‘Vijaykant factor’ has spiked the AIADMK’s electoral prospects. The ‘Black MGR of Tamil Nadu politics’ has turned out to be a classic spoiler. Third, the ‘Mamata factor’ was never seriously factored in, especially by the Left, while calculating the possible outcome of this election. Ironically, the amazing collapse of the Left has worked to the detriment of the BJP. Fourth, the ‘urban factor’ continues to elude logical interpretation.

If the voting trend is any indication, we must come to the conclusion, and regretfully so, that India’s middleclass is no longer guided by the moral compass. Nothing else explains why corruption should cease to be an election issue and the brazen exoneration by the Congress of those who have looted India fetch no more than a cynical, couldn’t-care-less response.

There is, however, no percentage in looking back. The BJP remains a national alternative to the Congress, more so after this election which has pushed regional parties and their identity politics to the margins of national politics. The BJP’s tally is nothing to scoff at.

The list, provided by the German government, reportedly contain the names of some prominent Indian businessmen and industrialists. However, the Indian government is under obligation not to make the names public as they were provided under the Indo-German Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA).

The information exchanged under DTAA is confidential, but the government is free to act upon the information.

A way to bring money to India

Mahesh Jethmalani, senior advocate, says the prospect of prosecution could be the most effective way of bringing such money back to India.

The government, in an affidavit to a public interest litigation filed by noted jurist Ram Jethmalani and four others, told the Supreme Court that it has the names of Indians holding accounts in LGT Bank.

However, tax experts and senior income-tax officials opine that there are roadblocks on the way to accessing accounts in LGT bank because of the limitation period that bars the I-T department to take up cases older than six years. Experts say the existing law on limitation needs to be altered. But to be effective, the law should be altered with retrospective effect.

STATE OF SHOCK PERMEATES PRO-HINDUTVA WEB SITES

B.RAMAN

The pro-Hindutva elements, which regularly visit these web sites and make their postings, are in an astonishing state of shock. There is more introspection already going on in these web sites than in New Delhi and State capitals and there is more loud-thinking than in the endless debates in our TV channels.

It is more interesting and educative to read these postings in the web sites than to listen to the blah, blah, blah of the spokesmen of different parties and the so-called analysts who have congregated in New Delhi.
