In 1993 the Supreme Court had given an ordinance in which it was mentioned, “Imams in the country should be paid by the Vakfa Mandal.” So in order to apply the same ordinance of the court in Maharashtra too as it has been done in other States in the Country, President of Bharatiya Moulana Sanghatana, Maulana Jamil Ahamad Iliyasi is conducting meetings of Imams all over the country. He discussed this issue with Sarsanghachalak Mr. Mohan Bhagvat and former Sarsanghachalak, Mr. K. Sudarshan recently in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
    • Iliyasi has given this information to the Journalists about the acceptance of the Sarsanghachalak to support their demand.
    • While speaking to the journalists in the ‘Shramik Patrakar Sangh', sarsanghachalak Mr. Mohan Bhagvat said, “Sangh does not pay attention to the Sangh Pariwar, it is not expected to do so and it has no time also for that.

Musharraf, Bhutto and Savarkar - Sughosh | hindujagruti.org

    • For Hindus, India is their Motherland. They have no value even for heaven compared to their own Nation which is like their mother. But Muslims treat this land as ‘Bhog-bhumi’ and therefore, they do not feel anything to break Bharat into pieces. They are not even bothered about such pieces broken by them since they lose interest in it once they suck everything from the same. They then go on a new hunt. In such hunt, they run away when they feel their life is in danger. One can therefore, realize how difficult task it is to convert Muslims into loyal Bharatiyas and how much perseverance is required to accomplish this task.

      • Fire-starter Swami Ghanananda Saraswati

The African Hindu Monastery (AHM) is a simple white structure in Odorkor, a suburb of the Ghanaian capital city of Accra. Started in 1975, it is headed by Swami Ghanananda Saraswati. The gentle-voiced Saraswati was born into the traditional African faith. Although he converted to Christianity when both his parents became Christian priests, he continued his search for truth. Attracted by Hindu beliefs and the practice of yoga, he travelled to India. While staying at Swami Sivananda’s ashram in Rishikesh, he decided to embrace Hinduism. At 35, he returned to Ghana and acquired his first disciples, holding lectures to educate Ghanaians about this ancient and foreign religion. Initially, his teachings attracted the literate and the academic – university lecturers and lawyers. Soon, some Indian families started to come. Later, a meeting with one Swami Krish- nananda (who was visiting from India) inspired him to set up a monastery “where he could tell people about all that he had learnt in India”.

TODAY, GHANA’S population of 23 million includes 12,500 Hindus, of which 10,000, like their Swami Ghanananda Saraswati, are indigenous Africans. While an older Sindhi temple still exists in Accra (and the Sathya Sais, the Ananda Margis, ISKCON and the Brahma Kumaris are also active), the African Hindu Monastery (AHM) is now Ghana’s largest centre of Hindu worship.

    • Latur (Maharashtra):
    • child begotten, due to a vow made to the Almighty, is thrown from a 40 – 50 feet tall wall in a mosque and this practice is going on for the past 80 years. The police, who have tried, since 3 years, to take action against this followers of this practice, have failed. But it is the duty of the Government to stop such practice. The above views were expressed by Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, the chief executive of Andha – shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS) while talking to a news- channel. (Anti-Hindu ANS is prompt in raising a commotion against custom, traditions and religious rituals followed by Hindus; whereas it has no guts to say anything against the aggressive Muslims. It is therefore, necessary for Hindus to unite to create awe about them like Muslims! – Editor SP)

India Retold: WITHOUT SUPERIOR VALUES, INDIA WILL NOT BECOME GREAT

  • tags: no_tag

    • What Bill Clinton has done now is not very different from what Jaswant Singh did in 1999, but he has emerged as a hero. If anything, the latter showed real personal courage to fly into what was then one of the most dangerous places in the world. The two Americans would not have been released had President Clinton not gone to rogue state North Korea. Similarly, the release of 154 Indians held in Kandahar would most certainly have got jeopardised due to more demands that would have been made by the Taliban and others, after the three released terrorists had touched down safely, had Jaswant Singh not been physically present there. That is what leadership is all about. But not only has Jaswant Singh not been lauded, he has been pilloried by petty political opponents and even a few of his party men who have amply demonstrated more than once that they do not have it in them.
    • The media too has to take the lead in celebrating such values and in condemning acts and elements that attempt to erode them, in a completely honest and bipartisan manner.
