    • Manipur faces a crisis that’s communal in its colour and anti-national in its import.

      Insurgents, blatantly anti-Indian, control the social and political life. They work on unhindered communal hatred. In Kashmir, Hindus were driven out by Islamist jihadis and nothing happened? In Nagaland and Manipur it’s the Christian and jihadi insurgents stifling the Hindu masses and their voices. The real fight is to get maximum number of non-Christians either converted or annihilated. It’s as simple as that. It’s a foreign-aided political colonialism in the garb of religious fervor.

      Manipur is on their target for its Vaishnav traditions. And how? The China-fixed insurgent group Peoples’ Liberation Army (PLA) has given notices to all non-Manipuri Hindus to leave the state by May 31. Its slogan is – unless they sever all ties with “Hindus, Hindi and Hindi speaking people’’ their target to have an independent Manipur can’t be achieved. The best protection for a non-Manipuri resident is to display Islamic half-skull cap, because none of the Muslims have ever been targeted or asked to leave, no matter which state they come from.
    • The entire north east is in the grip of an unprecedented wave of Christianization with the help of foreign money. Recently on May 5, a huge Jesus statue was unveiled in Arunachal Pradesh said to be the tallest in Asia, in a region where Christian population is less than 5%. But still Kohima can’t have a Gandhi statue as the NSCN opposes any Indian icons in their region.

    • Manipur is on fire today. Terrorist organisations demand secession from India, local tribal conflicts, and a total collapse of the civil administration has turned the state into a virtual hell. Yet Delhi does not seem to care, notes Tarun Vijay.

    • Non-Manipuris have been served notices to quit the state by the Peoples' Liberation Army, an outlawed separatist organisation with Chinese contours; it has set May 31 as the deadline.

      Thousands of labourers and workers have already left in panic; the remaining traders and teachers are terrified with zero security assurance either by the state government or by the Centre.

      So this is the state of India where citizens are asked to leave like the jihadis did to Kashmiri Hindus. People ask who owns Manipur. Why don't the Delhiwallahs care for them?

      If a small road was blocked for day in Haryana or Uttar Pradesh, the media would have covered it immediately. But a month's blockade of two arteries joining the state with the rest of India hasn't attracted even a fraction of that attention. Why? Because Haryana and UP are more important to South and North Block than Manipur?
    • That's what makes the north-eastern people think that Delhi does not care for them. Hindustan's boundaries for the so-called mainland politicos are up to Kolkata in the east and Amarnath in the north. Even the local Manipur media cannot refuse to publish threatening press releases of the terrorist groups.
    • No school, public place, private institution can display the national colours. Hindi is banned; Hindi movies have not been allowed in movie theatres for the last ten years. In school textbooks, the national anthem cannot be printed.
      Every single government contract has a 20 percent share for the terrorist separatist organisations and government officials take cash out in bundles and distribute it, according to the size and influence of the organisation, to their representatives whenever a new contract is awarded.

    • I am strongly against any division or discrimination on the basis of one's birth. To me people of all castes are equal. I abhor any caste discrimination and believe that this has been the one single feature of Hinduism in practice that has sapped the religion of its vitality and one that clashes with the very basis of Sanatan Dharm: Vasudev Kutumbakam - the whole world is one family.
    • Among the many who have written on the subject, I have picked the views of five, three of whom support caste census. It is an arbitrary selection but I think it broadly covers the main points that have been made in the media and elsewhere.

    • Nearly 200 Pakistani Hindus, who had migrated to India over a decade ago and are now left with expired passports, launched a fight on Tuesday to ascertain their identity.
    • The families said despite spending 10 to 15 years in India, the government had not provided them citizenship.

    • Billa said there were nearly 2,000 to 5,000 Hindu families who have migrated from Pakistan and are presently living in Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Delhi.

       

      Simak Ram, who had migrated from Peshwar in 2000, said of the 100 Hindu families in Peshawar, over 50 migrated to India in the last five to seven years. “Hindu girls are picked up by Muslims, which is a major factor for the migration,” he said.

       

      “We are very much Indians but the Indian government is harassing us. And in the absence of any identity, we cannot get any respectable work and our children are not getting admission in schools and colleges,” he added.

       

      “We have been living here for over a decade now. How can we renew our passports from Pakistan?” asked Ashok Kumar, another migrant.

       

      Billa said the Gujarat and Rajasthan governments had made arrangements to help such migrants, but in Punjab no such effort had been made.

BJP distances itself from Varun's remarks against Mayawati-Politics/Nation-News-The Economic Times

    • The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Thursday distanced itself from comments made by its leader Varun Gandhi in which he said statues of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati would be replaced with those of Lord Rama if the party came to power in the 2012 assembly elections.

      "Those were his personal comments. The party will act within constitutional rights," party's state chief Surya Pratap Shahi told reporters here.

    • At a function organised Wednesday at the BJP office in Lucknow to welcome the party's new state unit chief, Gandhi said: "We are determined to replace the statues of Mayawati and install statues of Lord Rama in those places."

      "After several years, there appears a ray of hope. We are confident we would be voted to power under the leadership of our newly-elected state chief," he added.

    • इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय ने गुरूवार को भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता लालकृष्ण आडवाणी और 20 अन्य लोगों के खिलाफ बाबरी मस्जिद विध्वंस मामले में आपराधिक मामला फिर से शुरू करने की अपील को खारिज कर दिया।
    • उच्च न्यायालय के इस फैसले से आडवाणी के अलावा भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता मुरली मनोहर जोशी और विनय कटियार को भी राहत मिली है। इस फैसले से भाजपा के पूर्व नेता कल्याण सिंह, उमा भारती और विश्व हिन्दू परिषद (वीएचपी) नेता अशोक सिंघल को भी राहत पहुंचेगी। उच्च न्यायालय के फैसले के मुताबिक विध्वंस मामले में भाजपा, वीएचपी और बजरंग दल के 26 कार्यकर्ताओं के खिलाफ आपराधिक मामला नहीं चलेगा।

    • सरकार की दोगली वोट बैंक की राजनीति बेहद अफसोसजनक है। एक ओर जहां हज यात्रियों को सब्सिडी दी जा रही है। वहीं अपने ही देश में हिंदुओं से जजिया कर वसूला जा रहा है। हिंदू संगठनों ने केंद्र व जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार को चेतावनी दी कि यदि सरकार ने अमरनाथ यात्रा पर लगाए कर, लंगर कमेटियों पर लगाई गई बंदिशें व फीसें वापस न ली तो कश्मीर की नाकेबंदी कर वहां से आने व जाने वाले सामानों की आपूर्ति ठप कर दी जाएगी।

      उक्त बातें जम्मू-कश्मीर सरकार के अमरनाथ यात्रा के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं से अवैध वसूली की खिलाफत में उतरे सैकड़ों शिव भक्तों को संबोधित करते हुए विश्व हिंदू परिषद के नेता सुखपाल सिंह ने कहीं।

    • विहिप के सुखपाल सिंह सरां ने कहा कि अमरनाथ श्राइन बोर्ड द्वारा लंगर संस्थाओं से जजिया रूपी टैक्स को 300 से बढ़ाकर सीधा 2300 करना सीधे तौर पर हिंदुओं का मनोबल गिराना है। इसके अलावा पिछले कई सालों से लंगर लगाने वाले स्थल को भी कम कर दिया गया है, वहीं लंगर कमेटियों को अपने ही देश में पहचान पत्र लाजिमी कर दिया गया है। हिंदुओं को जलील करने की इससे घटिया कार्यवाही और क्या होगी कि अपने ही देश के एक हिस्से में प्रवेश के लिए वीजा फीस वसूली शुरू कर दी जाए, जिसकी राशि 25,000 रुपये है। जो कि दुनिया के सभी देशों से ज्यादा है।

      समूह हिंदू संगठनों ने सरकार को चेतावनी दी कि सेवादार व यात्रियों पर अमरनाथ यात्रा के लिए थोपी गई वीजा प्रणाली को तुरंत प्रभाव से बंद हो, वहीं यात्रा को दो महीने से घटाकर एक महीने न करने तथा लंगर लगाने की जगह में तब्दीली न की जाए। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने ऐलान किया कि सरकार ने इनकी चेतावनी को नजरअंदाज किया गया तो इस साल न तो अमरनाथ दर्शन को यात्री जाएंगे और न ही कश्मीर में लंगर लगाया जाएगा और जम्मू-कश्मीर से न ही कोई सामान आने दिया जाएगा और न ही जाने दिया जाएगा। भंडारे बंद करके कश्मीर के रास्ते भी बंद किए जाएंगे।

    • मैंने देखा कि महिला पंडित पूजा को कहीं जल्दी खत्म कर देती हैं, कभी तो बस एक घंटे में ही. मेरे सभी रिश्तेदार, यहां तक कि मेरे पिताजी भी अब सिर्फ महिला पंडितों को घर बुलाते हैं. इसके अलावा मैंने अकसर यह महसूस किया है कि महिला पंडित मंत्र और श्लोकों का मतलब समझाती हैं. वह इमानदारी से अपना काम करतीं हैं."

      थोडी देर बाद चित्रा लेले भी पूजा के वक्त प्रदन्या को मंत्र और रीति रिवाज़ों का मतलब बता रही हैं. 41 साल की चित्रा लेले ने रंगीन साड़ी पहन रखी है. सफेद धोती पहन कर पूजा करने वाले आम पुरूष पंडितों से चित्रा बहुत अलग दिख रहीं हैं. चित्रा शादीशुदा हैं और उनकी एक बेटी हैं. वह बताती हैं कि संस्कृत और हिंदी में रुचि होने के कारण उन्हें पंडित का काम सीखने की प्रेरणा मिली. चित्रा बतातीं हैं, "आजकल की युवा पीढी बहुत ही व्यस्त है. वे बहुत सारा वक्त कंप्यूटर के सामने बिताते हैं. ऐसे में वे किसी धार्मिक अनुष्ठान में 5 घंटे नहीं बैठना चाहते हैं. हमारे तरीके से हम पूजा के ज़रूरी हिस्सों को उन्हें एक घंटे में समझा देते हैं. हम उन्हें पूजा में शामिल भी करते हैं, यह उन्हें बहुत पसंद आता है और वह इसमें हिस्सा भी लेते हैं."

    • पुणे के ध्यानप्रबोधिनी केंद्र में चित्रा ने प्रशिक्षण पाया. इस केंद्र का भवन शहर के पुराने हिस्से में है. इस वक्त वहां 20 से भी ज़्यादा महिलाएं एक वर्षीय कोर्स में भाग ले रहीं हैं. इनमें सभी जातियों की महिलाएं हैं. ज्यादातर की उम्र 40 से 65 के बीच है.
    • आर्या जोशी इस बात पर ज़ोर वक्त के साथ हाईटैक होते पुजारीBildunterschrift: Großansicht des Bildes mit der Bildunterschrift:  वक्त के साथ हाईटैक होते पुजारीदेती हैं कि महिलाएं सिर्फ घरों में पूजा संपन्न करतीं हैं, मंदिरों में नहीं. अंतिम संस्कार भी महिला पंडित नहीं कराती हैं. अब तक उन्हें सिर्फ बडे शहरों में खासकर मुंबई या पुणे में स्वीकार किया गया है. ग्रामीण इलाकों में उन्हें मान्यता मिलना अब तक संभव नहीं लगता. आर्या जोशी का मानना है कि हिंदू धर्म में महिलाओँ को हमेशा से पूजा संपन्न करने का अधिकार रहा है. प्राचीन धार्मिक पांडुलिपियों में भी इसका उल्लेख मिलता है. लेकिन फिर पुरूषों ने हस्तक्षेप करने की कोशिश की और कहा कि पंडित पुरूष ही हो सकते हैं और उनका संबंध भी एक विशेष जाति से होना चाहिए. तब से यही परंपरा चलती आ रही है.

    • उत्तर प्रदेश में बहुजन से सर्वजन की ओर जानें का दावा करनें वाली मायावती सरकार के संरक्षण में हिन्दुओं खासकर सवर्णों को बुरी तरह से अपमानित करनें का अभियान सा चल रहा है. इसका प्रत्यक्ष नजारा देखना हो तो ‘अम्बेडकर टुडे’ पत्रिका का मई- 2010 का ताजा अंक देखिए जिसके संरक्षकों में मायावती मंत्रिमण्डल के चार-चार वरिष्ठ कैबिनेट मंत्रियों के नाम शामिल हैं। इस पत्रिका के मई-2010 अंक का दावा है कि- ‘हिन्दू धर्म’ मानव मूल्यों पर कलंक है, त्याज्य धर्म है, वेद- जंगली विधान है, पिशाच सिद्धान्त है, हिन्दू धर्म ग्रन्थ- धर्म शास्त्र- धर्म शास्त्र- धार्मिक आतंक है, हिन्दू धर्म व्यवस्था का जेलखाना है, रामायण- धार्मिक चिन्तन की जहरीली पोथी है, और सृष्टिकर्ता (ब्रह्या)- बेटी***(कन्यागामी) हैं तो राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी- दलितों का दुश्मन नम्बर-1 हैं।

    • इस पत्रिका के सम्पादक डॉ0 राजीव रत्न अपनी इस पत्रिका के विशेष संरक्षकों में मायावती मंत्रिमण्डल के पांच वरिष्ठ मंत्रियों क्रमशः स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य (प्रदेश बसपा के अध्यक्ष भी हैं।), बाबू सिंह कुशवाहा, पारसनाथ मौर्य, नसीमुद्दीन सिद्दकी, एवं दद्दू प्रसाद का नाम बहुत ही गर्व के साथ घोषित करते हैं।
    • पत्रिका के इसी अंक में कानपुर विकास प्राधिकरण, मुरादाबाद विकास प्रधिकरण, आवास बन्धु-आवास एवं शहरी नियोजन विभाग, नगर निगम- कानपुर, नगर पंचायत- जलालपुर-बिजनौर एवं अन्य कई स्थानों के लाखों रूपयों का विज्ञापन छपा हुआ है। जाहिर है बसपाई मिशन में जी-जान से लगी इस पत्रिका को लाखों रूपयों का विज्ञापन देकर बसपा सरकार ही इसे इसे फलनें-फूलनें का मार्ग सुगमता पूर्वक उपलब्ध करा रही है।
    • बसपाई मिशन में जी-जान होनें से जुटी इस पत्रिका के मई-2010 के पृष्ठ संख्या- 44 से पृष्ठ संख्या-55 (कुल 12 पेज) तक एक विस्तृत लेख ‘धर्म के नाम पर शोषण का धंधा- वेदों में अन्ध विश्वास’ शीर्षक से प्रकाशित किया गया है। इस लेख के लेखक कौशाम्बी जनपद के कोई बड़े लाल मौर्य हैं (जिनका मोबाइल नम्बर- 9838963187 है।) इस लेख के कथित विद्वान लेखक बड़ेलाल मार्य नें वेदों में मुख्यतः अथर्व वेद, ऋग्वेद, यजुर्वेद के अनेकोनेक श्लोकों का कुछ इस तरह से पास्टमार्टम किया है कि- यदि आज भगवान वेद व्यास होते और विद्वान लेखक की विद्वता को देखते तो शायद वे भी चकरा जाते।

    • कारण स्पष्ट था कि सवर्णों के साथ मायावती की नजदीकियों के कारण दलित बसपा से दरकिनार हो कांग्रेस के पाले में खिसक गया था। स्थिति की गंभीरता को भांपते हुए मायावती नें अंततः एक बार फिर दलितों की ओर रूख करते हुए सवर्णों से किनारा करना शुरू कर दिया है।
    • उपरोक्त तथ्यों को देखते हुए अंततः यहाँ यह कहना गलत न होगा कि श्रीरामचरितमानस में गोस्वामी तुलसीदासजी महाराज नें सही लिखा है- ‘उधरे अंत न होय निबाहू। कालिनेमि जिमि रावन राहू’। अर्थात- कोई राक्षस भले ही सन्त भेष धारण कर लोगों को दिग्भ्रमित करनें का दुष्चर्क रचे, कुछ समय तक वह भले ही अपनें स्वांग में कामयाब रहे पर बहुत जल्द ही उसका राक्षसी स्वरूप लोगों के सामनें आ ही पाता है।
