I claim that Nagaland Christians are a branch office of the US based Baptist church, and in the global sense they are part of a powerful global enterprise, hardly a minority. To make the point intuitively clear, I cite the example that when we see a McDonald’s restaurant in India, we don’t think of it as some minority establishment even though in purely local terms it is a small portion of the city’s restaurant industry. We know it to be the local footprint of a global multinational. The same rules of global criteria should also apply to religious multinationals such as the various churches headquartered in the west with branches in India.

This point was very well applauded in my talks, as the videos show. I also wrote about this a decade ago in my two-part Sulekha.com articles, titled, “A Business Model of Religion,” in which I applied standard business corporate criteria to examine religious enterprises. The rules of a business being minority is clearly based on looking at worldwide assets, sales, overall clout, etc. and not merely the local position. The old rules for determining who is a minority no longer apply in this age of globalization when national boundaries do not isolate of partition global clout, funding, centralized governance, etc.

Who is a “minority” in the present global context? A community may be numerically small relative to the local population, but globally it may in fact be part of the majority that is powerful, assertive and well-funded. Given that India is experiencing a growing influx of global funding, political lobbying, legal action and flow of ideologies, what criteria should we use to classify a group as a “minority”? Should certain groups, now counted as minorities, be reclassified given their enormous worldwide clout, power and resources?

INTERROGATING THE TERM “MINORITY”: The book raises the question: Who is a “minority” in the present global context? A community may be numerically small relative to the local population, but globally it may in fact be part of the majority that is powerful, assertive and well-funded. Given that India is experiencing a growing influx of global funding, political lobbying, legal action and flow of ideologies, what criteria should we use to classify a group as a “minority”? Should certain groups, now counted as minorities, be reclassified given their enormous worldwide clout, power and resources? If the “minority” concerned has actually merged into an extra-territorial power through ideology (like Maoists) or theology (like many churches and madrassas), through infrastructure investment (like buying large amounts of land, buildings, setting up training centers, etc.), through digital integration and internal governance, then do they not become a powerful tool of intervention representing a larger global force rather than being simply a “minority” in India. Certainly, one would not consider a local franchise of McDonalds in India to be a minor enterprise just because it may employ only a handful of employees with modest revenues locally. It is its global size, presence and clout that are counted and that determine the rules, restrictions and disclosure requirements to which it must adhere. Similarly, nation-states’ presence in the form of consulates is also regulated. But why are foreign religious MNCs exempted from similar requirements of transparency and supervision? (For example: Bishops are appointed by the Vatican, funded by it, and given management doctrine to implement by the Vatican, and yet are not regulated on par with diplomats in consulates representing foreign sovereign states.) Indian security agencies do monitor Chinese influences and interventions into Buddhist monasteries in the northern mountain belt, because such interventions can compromise Indian sovereignty and soft power while boosting China’s clout. Should the same supervision also apply to Christian groups operating under the direction and control of their western headquarters and Islamic organizations funded and/or ideologically influenced by their respective foreign headquarters? Ultimately, the book raises the most pertinent challenge: What should India do to improve and deliver social justice in order to secure its minorities and wean them away from global nexuses that are often anti-Indian?

Whither revolution?: "Continuing our thoughts from a previous post, the question that stares us squarely in the face is simply this - if Egypt, Libya, Tunisia etc. have opted to oust their autocratic leaders through violent revolutions, why not us? Democracy is obviously not a good answer. The said countries had democracies of sort, elections too.

Now, consider these two snippets, from India's largest circulation daily, The Times of India:

SNIPPET 1: I still remember Nehru stepping into our living room and inviting Sir Alladi, my father-in-law, to join the drafting committee,' says Lalitha Krishnaswami. 'We were caught by surprise when someone informed us that Nehru who had come to attend a function at the nearby Andhra Mahila Sabha had decided to drop by. But to Sir Alladi's horror, no picture of the prime minister framed our walls. My husband was immediately asked to get one. He rushed to Luz Corner, got the first picture of Nehru he saw, framed it and rushed back home just minutes before Nehru himself walked in. Over the discussions that followed, Sir Alladi accepted his invitation to join the Constitution drafting committee,' she says. [link]

SNIPPET 2: As she took her seat in the front row next to NCP chief Sharad Pawar, finance minister Pranab Mukherjee handed her the one-paragraph statement the PM had just read out.Going through it carefully, Sonia nodded briefly to herself, signalling her approval and put the paper down. Looking up, she saw MPs thanking her for ensuring that the government accepted including caste as a point of enumeration in the national headcount. As is her wont, Sonia was quick to gesture towards Congress's chief troubleshooter while Mukherjee sat unmoved. [link]

Remarkably, these are from the news section of the newspaper. Qualitatively, we are not really different from those regimes, the same state run or controlled media and its intellectuals singing glory be.

We have gargantuan scams going on, not only do these scams deprive the very same social justice classes the rulers and their PR agents claim to benefit, but they have grave national security implications. What are some of the beneficiaries of these scams? Aside from the obvious holy cows and calves, these names are Hasan Ali, Shahid Balwa, Jagath Gasper Raj etc.

Minister after minister have been allowed to brazenly perjure themselves on national TV without so much as a murmur of protests from TV show hosts.

Secular intellectuals, whose raison d'etre seems to be to constantly decry deprivation of certain sections, have remained mum. Worse, some have actually blamed 'neo-liberal economic framework' etc. for the scams. Diabolic plans have been put in place to somehow retroactively blame folks who have not been in power for two terms. Attempts to put the right sort of people in charge of the vigilance department has backfired for the time being. The state machinery has made significant progress in blocking out any signs of dissent.

Yet, there are no signs of revolution. We remain hopeful though.

कुछ समय पूर्व हमारे प्रबुद्ध पाठकों और मित्रों ने आग्रह किया था कि हमें वर्त्तमान स्तिथियों में धर्म और देश के लिए क्या करना चाहिए इसके लिए संक्षिप्त में दिशा निर्देश दिए जाएँ तो उचित होगा .उन मित्रों के आग्रह का सम्मान करते हुए 'दशोपदेश 'के नाम से यह दस सुझाव दिए जा रहे हैं .मेरा अनुरोध है कि इसे अपने इष्ट मित्रों तक पहुँचाने का कष्ट करें ,ताकि इन पर अमल हो सके .




विश्व का शायद ही कोई ऐसा देश होगा जो ,इस्लामी जिहादी आतंकवाद से प्रभावित और पीड़ित नहीं हो .लेकिन भारत एकमात्र देश है जो ,लगभग पिछले एक हजार सालों से मुसलमानों के हर प्रकार के अन्याय और अत्याचारों को बर्दाश्त कर रहा है .और उनके कारण अनेकों समस्यायों का सामना कर रहा है.जबकि यह बात अच्छी तरह से साबित हो चुकी है कि,देश की हरेक समस्या की जड़ मुसलमान ही हैं .लेकिन जब इन अराष्ट्रीय मुसलमानों के साथ क्षद्म सेकुलर भी शामिल हो जाते हैं तो ,समस्याएं और भी विकराल रूप धारण कर लेती हैं .

कुछ समय पूर्व कुछ ऐसे ही सेकुलर लोगों ने मुझ से सवाल किया था कि,क्या आपको इस्लाम के आलावा कोई दूसरा विषय नहीं मिला ?,जो आप केवल इस्लाम की आलोचना करते रहते हैं .आप भ्रष्टाचार ,गरीबी ,और भाईचारे के बारे में क्यों नहीं लिखते ?.देश में पचासों विषय हैं ,जिनपर सैकड़ों ब्लागर अपने विचार प्रकट कर रहे है .

मेरा उन सेकुलर मित्रों से निवेदन है की वह जरा गंभीरता से विचार करें तो पता चलेगा की देश की जितनी समस्याएं है ,वह एक पेड़ की शाखाओं की तरह हैं .जो देखने में अलग अलग प्रतीत होती हैं .लेकिन उसकी जड़ इस्लाम और मुसलमान ही हैं .क्या यह सेकुलर लोग बता सकते हैं कि जब भी हिन्दू अपने किसी धार्मिक कार्य ,या उत्सव का आयोजन करते हैं तो पुलिस बंदोबस्त की जरुरत क्यों पड़ती है .क्या चीन ,जापान और रूस से हिन्दुओं को कोई खतरा है .सेकुलर लोग जबतक इस सच्चाई को स्वीकार नहीं करते कि हमें इसी देश के मुसलमानों से ही खतरा है ,तबतक देश से भ्रष्टाचार ,गरीबी और आतंकवाद का निर्मूलन संभव नहीं है .यदि विश्लेषण किया जाये तो पता चलेगा कि इन समस्यायों के पीछे मुसलमान ही हैं .

एक समय था जब देशप्रेम को अपना धर्म मानते थे .और देश के लिए सबकुछ त्याग करने को अपना सौभाग्य समझते थे .लेकिन जब कुछ स्वार्थी नेताओं ने मुसलमानों के वोटों की खातिर देशभक्ति के स्थान पर सेकुलरिज्म को संविधान में अनिवार्य कर दिया तो ,तो लोगों की देशप्रेम से अनास्था होने लगी .और लोग लालची और स्वार्थी हो गए .आप देखेंगे कि जितने भी भ्रष्टाचारी हैं ,उनमे अधिकाँश खुद को सेकुलर कहते हैं .और जितने भी सेकुलर हैं ,सब वर्णसंकर हैं .और सब में मुसलमानों का खून जरुर होगा .इसी लिए बाबा रामदेव ने कहा था कि इन सभी भ्रष्ट नेताओं का NDA टेस्ट किया जाना चाहिए .भ्रष्टाचार और मुसलमानों का चोली दामन का साथ है .चाहे वह हसन अली हो ,चाहे सभी खान नामके अभिनेता हों .

गरीबी का कारण भी मुसलमान ही हैं .इन्ही के कारण सुरक्षा के लिए अरबों रूपया प्रति वर्ष खर्च किया जाता है .कश्मीर के हरेक व्यक्ति पर दस हजार रूपया सब्सीडी दी जाती है .हज ,मदरसा ,और वक्फ बोर्ड के लिए हिन्दुओं के टेक्स से रूपया दिया जाता है .

मुसलमान और अंगरेज भारत को लूटने के लिए आये थे .लेकिन अंगरेजों ने देश के लिए रेल ,टेलीफोन ,रोड ,पुल ,जैसी कई सुविधाएँ दी थी .फिर भी उनको विदेशी होने के कारण देश से निकाल दिया गया .परन्तु मुसलमानों ने देश को मजारों ,दरगाहों ,कब्रों और मस्जिदों के आलावा क्या दिया है .जिनके कारण अक्सर फसाद होते रहते हैं .जो लोग कहते है कि देश कि आजादी में मुसलमानों ने योगदान दिया था ,वह नादान है.बड़ी मुश्किल से ऐसे तीस लोगों के नाम मिलेंगे जिन्होंनेदेश की आजादी के लिए योगदान दिया हो .सब खिलाफत आन्दोलन से जुड़े थे .फिर भी मुसलमान देश की संपत्ति पर अपना हिस्सा मंगाते है .पाकिस्तान लेकर भी इनका पेट नहीं भरा है .

मुसलमान अपने लिए पांच प्रतिशत आरक्षण चाहते हैं ,लेकिन यह बात नहीं बताते कि कितने प्रतिशत मुसलमान अपराधों में संलग्न है .


मुसलमान इस देश पर नहीं ,बल्कि विश्व के ऊपर एक बोझ है ,हमें यह बोझ जल्द ही उतरना होगा .नहीं तो इस बोझ के नीचे हम दबकर मर जायेंगे .इसके लिए हमें यह उपाय करना होंगे -

1 -धर्म निरपेक्ष नहीं धार्मिक बनें

यदि धर्मनिरपेक्षता का तात्पर्य भारत में उत्पन्न सभी मतों ,सम्प्रदायों और धर्मों का सामान रूप से आदर करना है ,तो हिन्दू ,जैन ,बौद्ध और सिख सवाभाविक रूप से धर्मनिरपेक्ष हैं .उनको कानून बना कर धर्मनिरपेक्ष बनाना तोते को हरे रंग से रंगने के समान है.और यदि बहार से आये लुटेरों के जिहादी विचारों को धर्मनिरपेक्षता के नाम पर जबरन थोपा जाये तो ,हमें ऐसी धर्मनिरपेक्षता की जगह धार्मिक होना अधिक पसंद है .हमारे किसी भी धर्मग्रंथ में धर्मनिरपेक्ष शब्द का कहीं भी उल्लेख नहीं है .यह कृत्रिम शब्द है ,जिसे मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण के लिए बनाया गया है .

2 -जिहादी विचारों का खंडन करें

हमें इस कटु सत्य को स्वीकार करना ही होगा कि,हरेक मुसलमान कैसा भी हो ,कहीं भी हो ,वह गैर मुस्लिमों को मुसलमान बनाने के लिए प्रयास करता रहता है .और जो भी यह कार्य करते हैं उनसे सहानुभूति रखता है .चाहे वह आतंकवादी क्यों नहीं हों .अकसर मुसलमान अपना आतंकी रूप छुपकर भाईचारा ,आपसी सौहार्द ,और गंगाजमुनी तहजीब के बहाने हिन्दुओं को गुमराह करते है ,और अपने लिए रास्ता बनाते है ,और इसके लिए हर प्रकार के साधनों प् उपयोग करके इस्लाम का दुष्प्रचार लरते है .इसलिए इनके झूठे प्रचार का मुंह तोड़ जवाब देना जरुरी है .और उनका तर्कपूर्ण खंडन किया जाना चाहिए .हिन्दुओं को चाहिए कि .वह किसी मजार,दरगाह ,और औलिया फकीरों के पास नहीं जाएँ .औरन उनपर आस्था प्रकट करें .इससे धर्म परिवर्तन को बढ़ावा मिलता है .याद रखिये इसी या मुसलमान बनने जातिवाद तो मिटता नहीं है ,उलटे हिन्दू अराष्ट्रीय बन जाते है .जैसा कि बाबा साहेब अम्बेडकर ने कहा है .इसलिए हरेक प्रकार से धर्म परिवर्तन का विरोध करें.और हिन्दू लड़कियों को मुसलमानों के जाल में फ़साने से बचाएं .मुल्ले मुस्लिम लड़कों को हिन्दू लड़कियों को फ़साने के लिए उत्साहित करते है .

3 -सशक्त और संगठित बनें

मुस्लिम जिहादी अक्सर हिन्दू धर्म स्थानों और हिन्दुओं को इसलिए अपना निशाना बनाते हैं ,क्योंकि वह समझते हैं कि हिन्दू अपने बचाव के लिए सरकार से गुहार करेंगे .और सरकार हिन्दू विरोधी है .और वोटों कि खातिर मुसलमानों का ही पक्ष लेगी .यही कारण है कि जिहादियों के हौसले बढे हुए है .यदि हिन्दू शक्तिशाली ,निडर और सशस्त्र हो जाएँ तो जिहादियों को कुछ करने से पूर्व सौ बार सोचना पड़ेगा .इसलिए हरेक मोहल्ले में मंदिरों के साथ साथ व्यायाम शालाये बनवाई जाएँ .जिस से प्रशिक्षित युवा मंदिरों और मोहल्ले कि रक्षा कर सकें हरेक हिन्दू घर सायुध और सन्नद्ध होना चाहिए .

4 -जातिभेद मिटायें सभी हिन्दू श्रेष्ठ हैं

यद्यपि भारत में कई संप्रदाय ,धर्म और जातियां मौजूद हैं ,लेकिन जब भी मुसलमान दंगा करते है ,तो वह बिना किसी जाति या गोत्र का भेद किये सभी को हिन्दू मानकर उनकी हत्याएं कर देते है ,चाहे वह जैन हो या बौद्ध हो .और चाहे उसका कोई भी गोत्र हो .इसलिए हमें इस भेदभाव को भूलकर एकजुट हो जाना चाहिए .भारत में वर्ण व्यवस्था जरुर है ,लेकिन वर्ण विद्वेष के लिए कोई स्थान नहीं है .हारे अवतार राम ,कृष्ण ,बुद्ध महावीर ब्राह्मण नहीं थे .और न वाल्मीकि ,व्यास ही ब्राह्मण थे .भारत में उत्पन सभी धर्मों के लोग ही इस देश के वास्तविक उत्तराधिकारी हैं .और यही लोग विश्व की सर्वश्रेष्ठ जाति है .जो बहार आये हुए हमलावरों की संतानें हैं उनका इस देश पर कोई अधिकार नहीं होना चाहिए .लुटेरा सिर्फ लुटेरा होता है .चाहे वह दस साल से इस देश में रहता हो ,चाहे हजार साल से रहता हो .

इसलिए हिन्दुओं को चाहिए कि किसी भी दशा में अपनी जमीने ,खेत ,मकान,दुकान आदि नतो विधर्मी लोगों को बेचें और न किराये पर दें .ताकि उस जगह पर मज़ार,कब्र ,दरगाह और मस्जिद न बन सके .क्योंकि यही झगड़े का कारण होते हैं .और यही आतंकवादियों के शरण स्थल होते हैं .अक्सर इन्हीं जगहों में हथियार छुपाये जाते हैं .यहीं से भडकाऊ भाषण दिए जाते हैं .हिन्दू अपने मोहल्ले की मजारों ,दरगाहों आदि की गतिविधियों पर नजर रखें .जो लोग उर्दू जानते हैं तो वह इस स्थानों पर चिपकाए गए और वितरित किये गए पर्चों को जरुर पढ़ें .क्योंकि उन पर्चों के द्वारा मुसलमानों को गुप्त निर्देश दिए जाते हैं .यदि आप किसी खबर को पाहिले हिंदी या अंगरेजी अखबार में पढ़ें ,फिर उसे उर्दू अखबार में पढ़ें आपको सच्चाई का पता चल जाएगा .

5 -धर्म प्रचार का तरीका बदलें

देश भर में सालभर कहीं न कहीं धार्मिक आयोजन होते रहते हैं ,जिनमे कई विद्वान् संत महात्मा ,रामायण ,भागवत की कथाये संगीत के साथ सुनाते रहते हैं .जिसको सुनने के लिए लाखों लोग जमा हो जाते है .और कई लोग संगीत की धुन पर नाचने भी लगते हैं .ऐसे प्रवचनकार सिर्फ लोगों का मनोरंजन ही कर सकते है .और लोगों का परलोक सुधार सकते हैं .लेकिन अपने भक्तों को इस्लामी आतंक से लड़ने की प्रेरणा नहीं दे सकते .और न हिन्दुओं को सिक्खों की तरह योद्धा बना सकते हैं .

इसीलिए जब भी कोई संस्था या व्यक्ति कहीं पर धार्मिक आयोजन कराये ,तो ऐसे ओजस्वी और प्रखर वक्ता को जरुर बुलाये जो अपने तेजस्वी व्याख्यानों से धार्मिक कथाओं के साथ हिन्दुओं पर किये गए अत्याचारों लोगों का ध्यान खींचे .जिससे लोगों का धर्म के प्रति रुझान बढे और इस्लामी आतंक से नफ़रत पैदा हो .यदि ऐसा नहीं हुआ तो एकदिन धीमे धीमे यह धर्म की दुकानें बंद हो जाएँगी .और इन तथाकथित संतों के सिर्फ वृद्ध लोग ही अनुयायी रह जायेंगे .युवा पीढ़ी या तो धर्म विमुख हो जाएगी या सेकुलर बन जाएगी .हमें समझ लेना चाहिए कि सेकुलर होना ईसाई या मुसलमान होने की पहिली सीढ़ी होती है .सेकुलर का अर्थ है हिन्दू धर्म से अनास्था .इसलिए जरुरी है कि हिन्दुओं को सेकुलर बनने के हर तरह के उपाय किये जाएँ .

6 -दान का सार्थक उपयोग करें

कुछ लोग यह समझते हैं कि ,मंदिरों ,और देव प्रतिमाओं पर क्विंटलों सोना चांदी और हीरे मोती चढ़ा देने से ईश्वर उनसे अधिक प्रसन्न होगा .और उनको सबसे बड़ा धार्मिक होने का प्रमाणपत्र दे देगा .यह उन दान देने वालों की भूल है .इस तरह से लोग आतंकवादियों और लुटेरों को न्योता देते हैं .जिसका भगवान अरबपति और भक्त निर्धन हों वह मंदिर या देवता कभी सुरक्षित नहीं रह सकता .यह इतिहास से साबित होता है .इन दान दाताओं को चाहिए की वह उन संस्थाओं ,समूहों और व्यक्तियों को दान दें जो इस्लामी आतंक के विरुद्ध काम कर रहे हों .देश धर्म की रक्षा के लिए समर्पित हो .यदि ऐसे लोगों को आर्थिक सहायता दी जाये तो यही लोग इतने समर्थ और शक्तिशाली हो जायेगे कि इसी भी विधर्मी की मंदिरों की तरफ कुद्रष्टि डालने की हिम्मत नहीं होगी .

7 -प्रचार क्षेत्र बढायें

आजकल कम्प्यूटर लोगों से संपर्क बढाने और अपना सन्देश लोगों तक पँहुचाने का सशक्त माध्यम है .सभी हिन्दू ब्लागरों को चाहिए कि वह आपस में अपने विचारों का आदान प्रदान करते रहें .मुस्लिम ब्लागरों के दुष्प्रचार का तर्क पूर्ण खंडन करते रहें .और अपने क्षेत्र में जिहादी विचारों को फैलने से रोकें .और अपने लेखों से हिन्दुओं को सचेत करते रहें .यदि किसी के मोहल्ले में कोई जिहादी प्रचार कर रहा हो तो ,उसकी जानकारी अपने सभी मित्रों को जरुर दें .सभी हिन्दू ब्लागर आपस में संपर्क बनाये रखें और एक दुसरे के लेखों को पढ़ते रहें .

8 -हिन्दू लड़कियों को सावधान करें

मुसलमान लडके अपने नाम बदल कर हिन्दू लड़कियों को अपने जाल में फंसा लेते हैं .और यातो उनको रखेल बना कर रख लेते हैं ,या उनका आतंकी कामों में इस्तेमाल करते हैं .बाद में यह मूर्ख लड़कियाँ न घर की रहती हैं न घाट की .अक्सर जो हिन्दू लड़की किसी मुसलमान अभिनेता को अपना आदर्श मानती है ,वह मुसलमानों के जाल में जल्दी फस जाती है .हिन्दू लड़कियों को बताया जाये कि मुल्लों ने हिन्दू लड़कियों को फ़साने के लिए लव जिहाद के नामसे बाकायदा एक अभियान चला रखा है .यदि कोई मुस्लिम लड़का हिन्दू लड़की को फसा लेता है तो .उसे मुल्ले इनाम देते हैं .यह जितने भी खान नामके अभिनेता हैं सब पाकिस्तान के एजेंट हैं .हिन्दू लड़कियों को चाहिए कि इन अभिनेताओं न तो अपना आदर्श मानें और न इनकी प्रसंशा करें .हिन्दू माता पिता अपनी लड़कियों को मुसलमानों के जाल में नहीं फसने दें .हिन्दुओं को चाहिए कि मुस्लिम लड़को को ऐसा सबक सिखाये कि वह किसी हिन्दू लड़की पर नजर भी नहीं उठा सके .

9 -अज्ञान का निर्मूलन करें

आज हमारी युवा शक्ति में अपने धर्म ग्रंथों ,अपने गौरवशाली इतिहास और अपने पूर्वजों द्वारा किये गए महान कार्यों के बारे में जानकारी का आभाव होता जा रहा है .कई ऐसे हिन्दू हैं जिन्हें अपने धर्म ग्रंथों के नाम भी पता नहीं है .शायद ही किसी के घर में वेद .उपनिषद् मौजूद हों .लोग जब मरने लगते हैं तब गीता सुनाई जाती है .यह दुर्भाग्य कि बात है .इसके कारण नयी पीढ़ी के युवा धर्म से विमुख होते जा रहे है .और ईसाइयों और मुसलमानों के प्रभाव में आ जाते है .और धर्म परिवर्तन कर लेते है .धर्म ग्रंथों की सही जानकारी न होने से हिदू ढोंगी .पाखंडी .धूर्त ,चालाक बाबा तांत्रिक लोगों के चक्कर में पड़ जाते हैं .और पाखण्ड को ही धर्म समझते हैं

हमें चाहिए कि हरेक हिन्दू परिवार के घर प्रमाणिक सदग्रंथ मौजूद हो .जिसका नियमित अर्थ सहित पठन होता रहे .और लोग अपने बच्चों को भी अर्थ बता दिया करें .यदि संभव हो तो कुछ लोग मिलकर किसी जगह हिन्दू ,जैन ,बौद्ध और सिख धर्मों की पुस्तकों को रखाव दें जिस से लोगों का ज्ञान वर्धन होता रहे .ज्ञान के बिना हम पाखण्ड को नहीं मिटा सकते .और न ईसाई और मुसलमानों का तर्कपूर्ण जवाब दे सकते हैं



10 -केवल देशहित को लक्ष्य बनायें

हमारा एकमात्र लक्ष्य अपने देश और धर्म की रक्षा करना होना चाहिए .और इस पवित्र देश में लुटेरों की औलाद को अपनी जड़ें ज़माने और भारत को इस्लामी देश बनाने रोकना होना चाहिए .और इसके लिए हर साधन का प्रयोग करना चाहिए .हमें किसी भी दशा में अपने उद्देश्यों से नहीं हटना चाहिए .इसीलिए हमें उसी दल या संगठन का सहयोग करना चाहिए ,जिसने सार्वजनिक रूप से देश और हिन्दू धर्म के प्रति निष्ठां और प्रतिबद्धता घोषित कर रखी हो.हमें क्षद्म सेकुलर और मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण के समर्थक वर्णसंकर लोगों से दूर रहना चाहिए .

मेरा विश्वास है कि इस दशोपदेश में दिए गए सुझावों से हमारे मित्र और पाठक सहमत होंगे .हो सकता है मेरे विचारों के प्रस्तुत करने का ढंग किसी को ठीक न लगे ,लेकिन मेरे उद्देश्य में किसी को शंका नहीं करना चाहिए .

If you look at Dara Shikoh’s life, it’s entirely clear why he is rightly held up as a beacon of Hindu-Muslim synthesis (sic). Equally, if you look at Dara Shikoh’s life, it’s entirely as clear why this synthesis is an impossibility. A basic question to set the ball rolling: who can show me exactly one other person in the 150+ years of uninterrupted Mughal rule who even attempted to do what Dara Shikoh did? And no, Akbar was not a “synthesizer” in the strict sense of the word: he was merely less Islamic than the rest. His absolute and unchallenged power allowed him enough leisure to indulge his philosophical and religious fantasies. This is not to deny any of his liberal policies—abolition of Jaziya and the rest—but they need to be put in perspective: because your WC is made of gold, you can’t have your dinner sitting on it. Dara Shikoh was the only Mughal who did that and paid for it dearly, brutally, humiliatingly. The reason is precisely because of…oh well, let’s let the evidence speak :

…the villainous ways of Dara Shukoh—what became the chief cause of Aurangzeb’s wrath was the inclination of his heart to the principles (or practices] of the Hindus and the spreading of disregard of Islamic religious prohibitions (Ibahat and Ilhad). Therefore, considering it necessary to defend the faith and the State, Aurangzeb determined to go to Shah Jahan… ¹

Aurangzeb was perfectly justified in murdering Dara Shikoh because he stuck to Islam to the last alphabet. Dara was the black sheep, the apostate royale. Which is why the entire Ulema threw its weight behind Aurangzeb against the rightful heir—and Shahjahan’s favorite son—of the Mughal empire. As evidence shows, Dara’s dastardly death actually underscores the true reason why the Hindu-Muslim synthesis can’t be achieved.

Synthesis—in this context, of the religious sort—is by definition give and take. Hinduism is by definition an inclusive religion. Most Hindus won’t have a problem accepting Muhammad as say, a Guru or Sant or Mahatma. But the record on the other side reveals that the ultimate goal of Islam is to make the earth Dar-ul-Islam. Without this knowledge, it’s impossible to understand why Dara was killed or the fact that Dara Shikoh was an apostate to begin with given that Islam forbids Muslims from reading literature of other religions and recommends death as punishment for such an act. He knew Sanskrit, was learned in various Hindu religious texts in the original and had even translated the Upanishads into the Persian. And he could do all this because he had immunity from the Ulema’s wrath being the designated crown prince at one time. What are the odds that an ordinary Muslim could do this and hope to remain alive in those times?

This is the glaring, fundamental contradiction that prevents accomplishing the said synthesis.

It’s curious how those who use Dara’s example of an “India that could have been” never pause and think about the magnanimity of hundreds of Hindu kings who allowed their Muslim subjects to practice Islam without fear, favor or state interference. This despite knowing that kings of their religion had vandalized temples, converted, and killed Hindus. This was the India that actually was. Synthesis in every sense of the word was practiced by Hindu rulers. Somebody needs to show us exactly one counterpart in a Muslim king. Again, if you hold Akbar as an example, here’s what will ensue: for all his liberal policies, Akbar was careful not to seriously antagonize the Ulema. Granted that he allowed his numerous Hindu wives practice Hinduism but why did only a Jahangir become his successor? And what about his other children who all became Muslims despite being born to Hindu mothers? You can’t call this synthesis: partial synthesis is no synthesis.

Here’s the thing—if the Hindu-Muslim synthesis could have happened, it would’ve already happened in some form or the other. 800 years is a long time for something like that to not have happened. Think about it.
