  • Interesting contrast in Christist behaviour in a geographic separation of a couple hundred kilometres. In West Punjab, Pakistan where they are a minuscule minority, the christists
    bleat persecution by the Islamists - there is truth to that.
    
    Across the border, in East Punjab - where apparently the christists have reached critical mass in some districts - christist
    "youth" riot - indulging in wanton destruction of public infrastructure and intimidation of the Hindu community.
    
    They're allowed a free run in a state where the "Hindu fascist",
    "Communal" BJP is a coalition partner!
    
    The alleged infraction by an artist is infinitesimallly minor in comparison to the perverted "art" of the MF, Hussain and the hate speech of evangelicals denigrating Indic civilization.

    I wonder if you have noticed, in UK their have come up with a channel where the focus of programming is to convert Panjabi speaking hindus (and sikhs) to Christism.

  • It is in this context that the unfolding drama across the border may revive the Khalistan demand in a new avatar. Current reports suggest that ISI is reviving the Khalistan insurgency. Good! This might become the agency's biggest ever goof up. Because now all the Sikh militants who are given sanctuary by ISI in Pakistan could eventually switch loyalties. Egged on by Sikhs in India and their NRI financial backers abroad they could turn against ISI and Taliban. Defying New Delhi India's Sikh militants could infiltrate into Pakistan not to seek sanctuary but to create disruption. There could develop for Pakistan a Kashmir syndrome in reverse. Might not Sikhs eventually seek common ground with the Pashtuns who share greater affinity with Afghanistan than with Pakistan ? Might not the Afghan Taliban, which does not share as much the long-term goals of the Al Qaeda as does the Pakistan Taliban, dump the ISI?
    
    If such developments do occur the Khalistan demand might revive for a region encompassing as much of Pakistan ruled Punjab as the Indian Punjab. Along with Pashtunistan and Baluchistan, Khalistan too could become Pakistan's headache. Islamabad and New Delhi, caught in the pincer move of Sikhs and the Pashtuns, could be compelled to fundamentally alter the present sub-continental arrangement.

  • When the pseudo secular media says that nudity is common in Indian temples its just for confusing the issues - on whatever temples nude pictures are there, they are not of Gods and Goddesses but are nude human figures.
    
    Issue is not just of nudity - it is of pervert intention like showing a nude woman on the tail of a monkey and naming it as Sita and Hanuman, or a nude woman in act with lion and naming it as Durga.
    
    Hindus would not bother if he draws such perverted pictures and secularists want to enjoy that perversion and freedom of expression. But Hindus have all the right to object when he names these pervert pictures with the names of Hindu gods and goddesses.
    
    For example if his picture of a nude woman on the tail of a monkey he had called it as 'enjoyment' or 'Jannat ki pari', no Hindu would have any objection. As it is his business to be pervert! But if he uses the names of Hindu Gods and Goddesses we have all the right to object to it.

  • शिवसेना प्रमुख बाल ठाकरे ने कहा है कि एम.एफ. हुसैन की इच्छा हो, तो वे हिंदुओं से माफी मांगे और देश वापस लौटें।  ठाकरे ने कहा कि एक चित्रकार के रूप में एम.एफ. हुसैन के बारे में हमारे मन में सद्भावना है। पर हिंदू देवी-देवाओं की बिडंबना करना, यह अच्छे कलाकार का लक्ष्ण नहीं है।
    
    उन्होंने अपनी पार्टी के मुखपत्र मराठी ‘सामना’ में ‘माय नेम इज हुसैन’ शीर्षक से लिखे संपादकीय में कहा है कि हुसैन पिछले कई वर्षो से अपनी मातृभूमि में नहीं रह रहे थे। वे हिंदुस्तान में न रहें। यहां से चले जायें। ऐसी भूमिका शिवसेना कभी भी नहीं अपनाई थी। ठाकरे ने कहा कि हुसैन जैसे अंतर्राष्ट्रीयस्तर का कलाकार के बारे में इस तरह का अंतिम राय बनाने और उनकी कलाकृति का नुकसान करने जितना हिंदू समाज नादान नहीं है।
