RSS chief’s views blot on society: SGPC member

Condemning the views expressed by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at Bhopal recently, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) member Hardeep Singh has termed Bhagwat’s statement as a “blot on the multi-cultural Indian society”.
The RSS chief had reportedly said those who were Indians were Hindus and if one was not a Hindu he could not be an Indian. “The RSS always works on the agenda of converting India into a Hindu nation by assimilating the multi-religious fabric of democratic and secular India,” Singh said in a statement issued here today.
