केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा 10 रुपये का नया सिक्का जारी किया गया है, जो दो धातुओं से मिलकर बना है तथा जिस पर एक तरफ़ “ईसाई क्रूसेडर क्रॉस” का निशान बना हुआ है। हालांकि इस सिक्के पर सन् 2006 खुदा हुआ है, लेकिन हमें बताया गया है कि यह हाल ही में जारी किया गया है। इससे पहले भी सन् 2006 में ही 2 रुपये का जो सिक्का जारी किया गया था, उसमें भी यही “क्रॉस” का निशान बना हुआ था। “सेकुलरों के प्रातः स्मरणीय” नरेन्द्र मोदी ने उस समय गुजरात के चुनावों के दौरान इस सिक्के की खूब खिल्ली उड़ाई थी और बाकायदा लिखित में रिजर्व बैंक और केन्द्र सरकार का विरोध किया, तब वह सिक्का वापस लेने की घोषणा की गई। लेकिन
सन् 2009 आते-आते फ़िर से नौकरशाही को फ़िर से वही बेशर्मी भरे “सेकुलर दस्त” लगे और दस रुपये का नया सिक्का जारी कर दिया गया, जिसमें वही क्रूसेडर क्रॉस खुदा हुआ है।
- एम.एफ. हुसैन सेक्युलर है परन्तु तस्लीमा नसरीन साम्प्रदायिक है, तभी तो उसे पश्चिम बंगाल के सेक्युलर राज्य से बाहर निकाल दिया गया।
- इस्लाम का अपमान करने वाला डेनिश कार्टूनिस्ट तो साम्प्रदायिक है परन्तु हिन्दुत्व का अपमान करने वाले करूणानिधि को सेक्युलर माना जाता है।
- मेजर संदीप उन्नीकृष्णन के बलिदान का उपहास उड़ाना सेक्युलरवादी होता है, हेमन्त करकरे के बलिदान पर प्रश्नचिह्न लगाने वाला सेक्युलवादी होता है, दिल्ली पुलिस की मंशा पर सवाल खड़ा करना सेक्युलरवादी होता है, परन्तु एटीएस के स्टाइल पर सवाल खड़ा करना साम्प्रदायिकता के घेरे में आता है।
- राष्ट्र-विरोधी 'सिमी' सेक्युलर है तो राष्ट्रवादी रा.स्व.सं साम्प्रदायिक है।
- एमआईएम, पीडीपी, एयूडीएफ और आईयूएमएल जैसी विशुध्द मजहब-आधारित पार्टियां सेक्युलर है, परन्तु भाजपा साम्प्रदायिक है।
- बांग्लादेशी आप्रवासियों, विशेष रूप से मुस्लिमों का और एयूडीएफ का समर्थन करना सेक्युलर है, परन्तु कश्मीरी पंडितों का समर्थन करना साम्प्रदायिक है।
- नंदीग्राम में 2000 एकड़ क्षेत्र में किसानों पर गोलियों की बरसात करना सेक्युलरिज्म है परन्तु अमरनाथ में 100 एकड़ की भूमि की मांग करना साम्प्रदायिक है।
- मजहबी धर्मांतरण सेक्युलर है तो उनका पुन: धर्मांतरण करना साम्प्रदायिक होता है।
- कामरेडों का नमाज में भाग लेना, हज जाना और चर्च जाना तो सेक्युलरिज्म है परन्तु हिन्दूओं का मंदिरों में जाना या पूजा में भाग लेना साम्प्रदायिक है।

This continuing Congressional support for the Tibetan cause on the same scale as during the previous administration is reflected in the budgetary allocations for the fiscal year 2009 and in the access enjoyed by various Tibetan non-governmental organizations to leading members of the two Houses, belonging to both the Democratic and the Republican Parties.

What the missionaries don’t tell them on the anvil of conversion is that the Vatican was merely recruiting a band of the Faithful that would obey its call for the oncoming battle with Islam. On Sunday, the centenary honour was awarded to scholar Kalyanaraman, who is known for his work on tracing the mythical river Saraswati and the science behind Rama Setu. CM B S Yeddyurappa inaugurated the ceremony and honoured Kalyanaraman who narrated his journey as an officer for the Asian Development Bank to finding the reality of river Saraswati, that has been referred in the Vedas innumerable times. He also spoke about how he managed to get the right judgment on the Rama Setu issue after it was under the threat of being demolished.

A Gullible disciple: I find myself agreeing to some of the views of BJP, especially on terror, international policies and common civil code etc. But the very next moment, when the panelists on these shows call it a farce and communal, I feel I am communal too.
Mr. Secular Indian: First things first. You cannot be called secular, If you agree with the BJP. You have to be a staunch opponent of BJP policies irrespective of whether you feel they are right or wrong. Be careful, you will be tagged as a communal instantaneously if you agree with them. It would not matter what you think about the upliftment of minorities.
A gullible disciple: If you are tagged as a communal, is there anything we can do to get back to the secular brigade?
Mr. secular Indian: This is very simple. It is like conversion from one religion to the other. The easier we make it, the more it boosts our strength. Even if you are in the communal alliance for sometime for your own political advantage, you can dump these communal forces whenever you feel they are redundant and join the secular brigade. Remember
Naveen Patnaik. He was tagged communal and his party was called a principal architect of the Kandhmal violence by the Indian media and the secular forces alike. William Dalrymple, in a visit to Dang in 1999, despite his bias understood the tensions generated by American-inspired Pentecostal missionaries who desired wholesale conversion of tribals. After interviewing recent converts, he frankly admitted that conversions took place not out of religious conviction but material benefits, predominantly medicine. Yet Christian medical graduates in India are not even a fraction of the total. The fact then remains that Christian quacks are operating in the garb of witch doctors in the tribal belts, unless they want to make improbable claims of having outsourced their task to Hindu doctors.
After independence, the traditional way of integrating the tribal with the mainstream through a natural, humane and non-discriminatory process of acculturation and Sanskritization was the cherished desire of most. Guru Golwalkar proposed that for the integration of tribals and untouchables, the same formula applies: “They can be given yajñopavîta (…) They should be given equal rights and footings in the matter of religious rights, in temple worship, in the study of Vedas, and in general, in all our social and religious affairs. This is the only right solution for all the problems of casteism found nowadays in our Hindu society.” Unfortunately that didn’t materialize.
Remember the jibe – ‘Hindu rate of growth’? It applied to the Soviet-style socialism of Nehru and Indira Gandhi. But when the growth rate surged past the double digit mark under a supposedly Hindu nationalist government, the title of Hindu rate of growth became inconvenient; now growth rate is secular.
Hindus are severely hampered by lack of funds, especially as temple grants which could be used against Christian propaganda are usurped by “secular” governments under the pretext of the Religious Endowment Act which applies only to Hindus. Finally, anti-Hindu bloodthirsty Maoists operate parallel administrations where even police fear to venture. They have made common cause with Christians against Hindus.
