- The challenge of large-scale production has to be dealt with differently because this is basically sustainable. The way forward is to distinguish between the high-end customized market and the low-end standardized market.
- We can face this problem either by imposing import taxes on Chinese goods and protecting our factories which have smaller scale of production and cannot compete. Alternatively we can turn our small scale factories towards the high-end market. This high-end market is available in China as well. It seems to me that we must allow Chinese goods to enter our low-end market but balance this by capturing the high-end market in China. Our workers will be doubly benefited from such policy. They will get cheap standardized goods from China and also employment in the manufacture of high-end goods for export to that country.

- I view the presence of Swami Ramdev as an act of religious surrender. He cannot hope to succeed with the Muslims in the cultural arena where even Mahatma Gandhi failed so disastrously and so magnificently.
- It has also been brought to my notice that Baba Ramdev is not the only Hindu Swami engaged in the cultural task of cajoling the Muslims. Recently an English newspaper in Bombay organized An Inter-Religious Dialogue for Spiritual Enlightenment in which Sri Sri Ravishankar (Art of Living) and Dr Zakir Naik (Islamic Research Foundation) took part. In this very programme, an attempt was also made to downgrade the Gita during the interactive discourse on a mischievously chosen topic ‘Jihad in the Gita and the Quran’.

I understand from him that Swami Ramdev has written a book in Hindi called Jeevan Darshan. I am presenting below the cover page of this book:
After reading the above book Deivamuthu discovered to his dismay that Swami has made some wrong and false statements on page 77. Deivamuthu wrote a detailed letter to Swami Ramdev on 11 October. - At this juncture, it is for a few lions in the Hindu Nation to wake up and roar. If Russian and Chinese inspired communists can promote terrorist outfits within this country to destroy our governments, if Christian militants receiving millions of dollars from European and American evangelical missions to destabilize India and make it once again a colony of the West, if Islamic fundamentalists can set up terrorist outfits and carry on blasts with the support of aggressive alien Islamic countries, it is the bounden duty of the patriotic Hindu forces to set up a more powerful and aggressive Hindu outfit to defend the freedom and sovereignty of this great nation. Genuine sadhus and sannyasins of this land will shower their blessings on the warriors for the cause of Hindu Nation and a time will come when patriots in the armed forces of the land, now under the thumb of corrupt politicians, will free themselves from the bondage and come forward to defend the honour and integrity of the nation. The spiritual power of the holy men combined with the might of the warriors among the Hindus will once again reestablish the glorious Hindu Nation on this sacred soil.
- The sadhus and sannyasins, like Yogi Ramdev who has been so liberal minded even to attend the Deoband congregation and glorify Islam as a noble religion in spite of the Koranic injunctions of jihad to wipe out the kafirs or non-believers in Islam through war, violence and rape, must now wake up from delusion. They must now prove that they are true godmen and children of Mother Bharat by coming forward to fight and give up their lives for the honour of their Motherland like the sannyasins of Ananda Math of Rishi Bankim Chandra. It is time for us to remember the sacrifices of great martyrs and patriots who laid down their lives at the altar of Motherland with Vande Mataram on their lips.

- आगामी 3 दिसंबर को भोपाल गैस त्रासदी को 25 साल पूरे हो जाएंगे इसलिए गैस पीड़ितों के बीच काम करने वाले संगठन और राज्य सरकार दुर्घटना की पच्चीसवीं बरसी बड़े पैमाने पर मनाने की तैयारी में जुट गये हैं । 25 साल बाद यूनियन कार्बाइड के कचरे को कंपनी और सरकार भले ही साफ करने में नाकाम रही हो लेकिन अब सरकार 'कचरे' को ही साफ सुथरा बताने के अभियान पर निकल पड़ी है. आगामी 20 नवंबर से सरकार कंपनी के दरवाजों को आम आदमी के लिए खोल रही है ताकि लोग आये और देंखे कि कैसे यह 'कचरा' अब जानलेवा नहीं है.
- हादसे के प्रति सरकारों की गंभीरता का अंदाज़ा लगाने के लिये ये जान लेना ही काफ़ी होगा कि सड़क और रेल हादसों, प्राकृतिक आपदाओं में मरने वालों और ज़ख्मी होने वालों को लाखों रुपए का मुआवज़ा दिया जाता है लेकिन गैस हादसे के पीड़ितों के लिये ना तो केन्द्र और ना ही रज्य सरकार ने आज तक एक धेला खर्च किया है। बल्कि हो यह रहा है कि यूनियन कार्बाइड से समझौते के तहत मिले पैसे से सरकारें अपने खर्च निकालती रही हैं।
