Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia served notice in civil suit

- Owners of Kings XI Punjab, Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia along with its vice president Arvinder Singh, were issued notices for March 22 for using the names of freedom fighters including Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru in a print advertisement by a district court here today.
- Abhey Singh Sandhu, nephew of Bhagat Singh, Arvind Thakur, chairperson of the Global Human Rights Council and Vijay Singh Bharadwaj of the VHP have alleged the team’s ad that appeared on March 13 had used the names of the freedom fighters as a medium of what they called was ‘cheap publicity’ to attract more tickets.
