In an effort to register his protest against Uttar Pradesh government’s move to set up 8 modern slaughter houses in the state, Jain Muni Shri Maitri PrabhSagarji Maharaj has been on fast-unto-death since 26^th April 2011, even after 17 days of his fast UP’s Govt has not shown any positive response.

The peaceful movement was keeping the police and UP Govt on their toes and UP’s chief minister has lost his sleeps as the movement was getting massive support from all walks of life from across the country and from countries like England and USA.

Meerut Bandh on 10^th May was successful beyond UP Govt’s imagination and finally the govt decided to disrupt the movement by hook and crook and ordered the city police to arrest the Honourable Jain Monk on his 17^th day of fast unto death at 2 am along with more than 100 supporters, nobody knows where they have kept Munishri.

Jay Bhagwan Goyal head Rashtravadi Jain Manch recalled how the UP police hurt the religious sentiments of Jains while forcibly admitting the fasting monk to a hospital.

“Jain monks don’t use vehicles whereas Prabhu Sagar was taken into a vehicle after his arrest. Not only this, he was given glucose forcibly in the evening,” Goyal said.

The Rashtravadi Jain Manch also announced that a foot march would be held on Thursday from India Gate to Rajghat to protest the police action.

Hindu baiting in the Indian state of West Bengal is becoming widespread these days and Minakha in 24 Paraganas (North) has turned out to be one the worst affected areas. As per classified sources, Muslims are making use of this uncanny development to eradicate Hindus from the environs.

On May 15, 2011, around 3 am, Khaleq Gaji, age 24 years, entered residence of Ashto Sardar and woke up his wife, Aloka Sardar, aged 40. Khaleq happens to be an infamous Muslim criminal and also TMC (Trinamool Congress) activist in the same Teghoria (village), Kulpi, P.S. Haroa in Minakha area and was carrying Hasua (common weapon in rural Bengal used for agricultural jobs) in the fateful night.

Brandishing the weapon he threatened Aloka and raped her. Ravaged Aloka had no other way other than conforming to his demands. When the news became public, Aloka was admitted to the Basirhat Sub-division hospital and underwent a series of medical tests.

There is another important facet to this incident as well. During the last Panchayat election, three years back, houses of a few Hindus, namely Ashto Sardar, Tapan Sardar, Gopal Naskar, HariKamal Haldar, along with others were ransacked by Muslim workers of TMC.

The aforesaid ghastly incident has terrified the entire area of Teghoria village and Hindus are apprehending more dangers in the coming days. Even if police security has been beefed up, Hindus, owing to fear, are planning for exodus.
