Denigration of Sri Durga Devi by 'Deccan Chronicle' newspaper

Appeal to devout Hindus

Deccan Chronicle has defamed Sri Durga Devi by depicting Mamata Banerjee, who won the State Assembly election held recently in West Bengal, as Sri Durga Devi under the title of 'Stree Shakti Dazzles' (Women Power Dazzles). This is nothing but the denigration of Sri Durga Devi, highly revered deity of Hindus worldwide. It is duty of all devout Hindus to protest lawfully against Deccan Chronicle so that it should render unconditional apology to all Hindus for hurting their religious sentiments and also it should not repeat such mistake in future.

The defamatory image is published in Hyderabad, Kochi and Chennai editions of Deccan Chronicle.
