  • “India can become an economic superpower only through Hindutva,” Togadia said at a function organised by Niramay, an NGO for the poor and supported by the VHP.
  • The service provided by Christian and Muslim community is imperialistic and not on humanitarian grounds while the social service initiative of Hindu organisations is only for public cause, Togadia said.
  • The VHP leader said there was a misconception that Christian organisations are leading in providing services to the poor, but it is hardly one per cent of that by Hindu organisations.
  • The VHP wants to make a resolution that would ensure that no poor sleeps without food, dies without medication and remains illiterate due to lack of money, Togadia said.
