- Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, the prime accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, has threatened to kill herself, alleging ill-treatment meted out to her in jail.
- "It is strange that a terrorist like Mohammad Ajmal Kasab is being given VIP treatment in jail while Thakur is being punished for her Hindutva ideology," Sadhvi's lawyer Naveen Chomal said.
