VHP to launch `Gau-Gram yatra` from Bengaluru
- Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini are going to launch 'Gau-Gram' yatra from Bengaluru on September 30, which will go through all over the country and conclude at Nagpur on January 17, 2010, VHP's International Executive president S Vedantaya said.
The yatra will aim at bringing awareness among Hindus on banning the cow slaughter in the country and also strengthen its membership drive.
