I believe there is a need to put energies on promoting one mega aggregator kind of blog - like shadow warrior. All the authors that you mention can then provide feeds to their blog this aggregator - which can then be promoted by Email campaigns through our swayamsevak bandhu from IT milan etc..

and it needs team members sepcially for putting suitable tags to the posts and for web-promotation.
Even then joining-up with RSS may not be a good idea
as I will loose my indipendance to feature post which are critical to RSS.
If you look around you will find that less than 5% of my posts are critical to RSS,
even than they are essential to me.
