    • Waking up to apex court directives, the administration of this coastal Odisha district has identified as many as 529 religious places of worship coming up on encroached government land.

      Instances of abode of God on encroached government territory are most prominent as far as Hindu places of worship are concerned.

      As many as 523 Hindu temples continue to thrive in encroached public land while location of six numbers of mosques is on unlawfully intruded land, according to official reports.
