  • Training camp of Seema Jagran Manch workers
  • A two-day training camp of Seema Jagran Manch workers from Bharat-Nepal border was held in Lucknow from May 7 to 8. More than 100 workers from Uttarakhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh participated in the camp. Prominent among those who guided the workers included National Executive Members of RSS Shri Indresh Kumar and Shri Ashok Beri, senior journalist Shri Rajnath Singh ‘Surya’, Kshetra Pracharak Shri Shivnarayan, national organising secretary of the Manch Shri Rakesh Kumar and others. Addressing the workers at the concluding ceremony Shri Indresh Kumar said India shares 26,000 kms of border with ten countries. He said the borders of the country are like the clothes of the mother. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each and every citizen of the country to ensure that no one dares to insult the mother and they should always be ready for any sacrifice for her protection. He said the growing unemployment is forcing the people to migrate from the border areas which will prove highly dangerous for the security. The workers of Seema Jagran Manch have started many activities for the welfare of these people. Hundreds of youth from border areas have joined the army and other security forces after the training imparted by the Manch. They also conduct various activities so that there is good coordination between the people living there and the security forces.
