Yeddyurappa offers one crore to a TN temple
- Chennai: Bestowed one crore rupee for several outstanding work, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has conferred at Sri Devanathaswamy Temple in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore district.
In an official press release, Karnataka Commissioner for Religious and Charitable Endowments K Ramanna Naik, who represented the Chief Minister, offered a demand draft to Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment (HR&CE) Minister K R Periakaruppan.
The sum of Rs one crore will be use in pending works at the Swami Hayagreevar 'Sannithi' (sanctum sanctorum) in the temple.
