  • When we all would try to explain this concept of jehad and how dangerous it is to the nation, most pseudo-seculars would condemn it as an outdated blah-blah until 9/11. This was when the US of A started using jehad word to explain as to why Osama attacked them then and even before in Yemen in the sea, that somewhere in Bharat some people started realising the larger conspiracy in many such attacks in Bharat-be it Kashmir 1990 or Mumbai March 12, 1993, and many of them later. Some rightly realised that even 1947 Partition was a planned political jehad by Jinnah. Historians started explaining earlier invasions and rules by many Islamic invaders on Bharat as an attempt of jehad and not just looting. Yet, up until Mumbai attack on 26/11, for many so-called pseudo-secularist, the word jehad was not only a taboo but also was ‘an extreme reaction by mad people like Togadia’.

  • नेपाल की राजधानी काठमांडू में सोमवार को राजशाही और हिंदू धर्म को फिर से लागू करने की मांग तेज हो गई है। इस मांग को लेकर पूर्व नरेश ज्ञानेन्द्र के समर्थकों की ओर से बंद का आह्वान किया गया, जिसके दौरान पुलिस ने 100 से अधिक प्रदर्शनकारियों को गिरफ्तार किया। प्रदर्शनकारियों में एक पूर्व मंत्री भी शामिल है।

  • प्रजातंत्र पार्टी के नेताओं ने दावा किया कि शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से प्रदर्शन के बावजूद उनके 600 से अधिक नेताओं और समर्थकों को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है।
    

     

    बंद की वजह से काठमांडू में यातयात व्यवस्था चरमरा गई। इसके अलावा सभी शैक्षणिक और व्यावसायिक प्रतिष्ठान भी बंद रहे।

This is the first time that such a meet is being organised in the city for single, divorced and separated senior citizens.
    
    Over 400 men and 100 women from across the state have already registered for the March 6 meet being organised by Ahmedabad-based NGO Vina Mulye Amulya Seva (VMAS).

• Objectionable Jesus poster sparks violence, curfew- Hindustan Times

  • An indefinite curfew is imposed in the Punjab town of Batala on Saturday after tension prevailed following the publication of a poster depicting Jesus Christ in an objectionable manner. Clashes also broke out as some members of the Christian community forced shopkeepers to down shutters.

    The curfew was imposed after members of the Christian community came to know about the poster, depicting Jesus Christ holding a beer can in one hand and what appeared to be either a cigarette or a chicken leg in the other. 

    They started gathering in the town and forced the shopkeepers to close their shops, leading to clashes. The police intervened when they tried to burn a few buildings. 

    Batala, 40 km from Amritsar, has a sizeable Christian population and several leading schools and other institutions have been run by the community for the past several decades. 

  • "The printing press in which the controversial poster was printed had been sealed and a case has been registered against the accused at the police station in Jalandhar's Division No. 4.
  • Pictures of Jesus Christ holding a cigarette in one hand and a beer can in the other in a book for primary classes triggered a row in Meghalaya Friday. The objectionable pictures were found in the cursive writing exercise books at a school in Shillong.
