Hindu Voice UK - The Hindu Perspective

A white American girl who is married to an Indian guy blogs about her experiences and advise relating to cross cultural marriages, carrying interesting and original articles about a subject hugely relevant to all of us. She also discusses religion in many posts. Here she describes how she went from being an atheist to considering herself an “Atheist Hindu”.
The self description of this blog is "Musings of an ethnically English follower of Sanatan Dharma". This blog gives the author’s various experiences and thoughts as he explores Hinduism. I enjoyed nearly all the posts. A particularly interesting one was: "Why don't Christian missionaries target Britain rather than India?"
This blog belongs to Jennifer Kumar, a lady who spent a lot of time in India, and has been maintaining this website since 1997. Some of the posts I really liked were "108 Aspects of Wealth - Lakshmi's many attributes" and "The Stories of Diwali from different parts of India".
A very regularly updated blog on spirituality, religion and culture. No social or political issues. Dates of Navratri this year and a news article about scentists trying to work out which herb was used to revive Lakshmana in the Ramayana are two recent posts that Hindu Voice UK readers may find relevant. "Hindu Concept of the Beginning and End of the Universe" is also very interesting.
5) Divine India - The Spiritual Nation
Although marred by some poorly placed "in your face adverts" I was impressed and deeply interested to read the biographies of yogis, philosophers and saints, some of whom I had not heard of before. Really brought home the sheer number of great mystics that have come from India. Some recent biographies are of J. Krishnamurthi and Ramgopal Mazumdar, the "sleepless saint".
