- A group of Muslims was sitting near the temple smoking cannabis. As Hindus accosted them, Muslims arrogantly told them to mind their own business and started throwing stones at the temple.
- The Muslim group broke the temple light for being accosted by Hindus for smoking cannabis near the temple. Then they cut off the electric supply of the Hindu locality and started beating Hindus with whatever they could lay their hands on. They pelted stones even at their houses.
