    • Houseful, the Kannada movie will be released next week without the giant Charlie Chaplin statue. Director Hemanth Hegde said on Thursday he couldn't use the statue that was in the eye of a storm when Hindu activists opposed the move to install it in Vothinene near Udupi.
    • Unveiling the model of a 7-feet Charlie Chaplin statue (that cost Rs 1.5 lakh), Hegde said it will be kept in Innovative Film City. Work on another 62-ft statue (that costs Rs 30 lakh), which he had planned for the film, has begun, and that will also be displayed there.

Agreeing that the inclusion of statue would have been a plus point for the movie, the director said if the film completes 50 days, he would reshoot the song sequence with the statue and include it in the film.
