    • Prakash Vispute, the Vice-principal of Prakash Vidyalay, run by Chakradharswami Shikshan Mandal Board, called the students of 11th std. who had applied  tilak and worn tulsi mala to the Principal’s office. The Principal, R.D. Bairagi warned them of debaring them from school if they continued applying tilak and wearing tulsi mala. When the parents were informed about the warning, Mr. Mahajan, father of the student Pradip Jagannath Mahajan, took the principal and the board of directors of the school to task and removed his ward from the school. His son, Pradip, left the Principal’s office shouting slogans praising the Hindu culture. Parents and their wards forwarded a letter regarding this matter to the school committee.
