Surat Police on Sunday arrested two youths - Nirav Jagdishchandra Rana and Umesh Anupchandra Jain who are members of Vishva Hindu Sewa Samiti(VHSS) for sending offending SMS about Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
Jain and Rana had allegedly prepared and circulated mobile SMS to as many as 500 people. The message read: “Jay Shree Ram. Narendra Modi ne swine flu positive. Bhagwan ene jaldi uthavi le aevi prarthna. Jaisi karni vaisi bharni.”
- Nirav Rana is son of local Congress-INTUC leader Mrs. Urmilaben Rana. Nirav Rana was suspended from Congress party’s students wing NSUI.
