- A fearsome woman Maoist who was involved in violence for the last three years in Orissa, surrendered on Wednesday because her seniors were attempting to play Cupid.
The woman, Pidikaka Laxmi alias Sunita of Golanda village said she was being pressurised by senior Maoist leaders to marry a Chhatisgarh cadre though she wanted to tie the knot with a young tribal man.
