    • The Karnataka High Court today granted six weeks time to the State Police to file its final report on the ''love jihad'' which came to light with the case of a Hindu girl's marriage to a Muslim recently.

      A Division Bench comprising Mr Justice K Sreedhara Rao and Mr Justice Ravi B Mallimath granted six weeks time to the special cell, headed by DIG Central Investigation Department (CID) Malini Krishnamurthy, constituted to probe the ''love jihad'' movement allegedly involving luring of girls from other communities by Muslim youths and converting them to Islam, and submit its report as per State Government's request.
