SIKH AID Team in Haiti UNITED SIKHS Seeks Support to help Haiti quake survivors

UNITED SIKHS' volunteers arrived Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Saturday to begin major humanitarian relief work in the capital city of Haiti. Retired Lt. Col. Gurbachan Singh, along with other volunteers, reached Santo Domingo airport and drove into Haiti, crossing the Jamini border.
The Sikh Aid team's first hand assessment of the situation showed an urgent need for Medical supplies, food, water, and shelter for the survivors. The Sikh Aid team worked to overcome serious obstacles due to lack of infrastructure and logistic challenges.
