    • An FIR has been lodged against West Bengal chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee in a Bihar police station for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of Hindus
    • The FIR was lodged on October 3 on the basis of a complaint petition filed in December 2007 by one S K Ojha in the court of Muzaffarpur chief judicial magistrate. A lawyer by profession, Ojha alleged Bhattacharjee hurt religious sentiments of Hindus when he said on December 7, 2007 that "Ram is not a god, Ramayan is not a religious Hindu epic and Ramsetu is a natural structure, not a manmade bridge".
